I decided I had to find/start a destiny thread. It seriously is [spoilers]fun[/spoilers].


Yesterday I tried out my first strike to see what it was about. It was the lvl 12 moon strike. At first we had 3 lvl 12s so it went well enough even though it was extremely tough at first as I doubt any of us knew what to expect. My first try we didnt even get past the first room. Anyway, this team got to phogoth. I felt like a boss already. Then… total annihilation. We died 3 times in a row and it seemed impossible. Everyone quit but me.

Then this one awesome fucker joined in and stuck it through with me. We died twice, just figuring out the enemy's their movements, and the teamwork we should play. The third time we found our groove, but it was still fucking tough. We died at least 7 times each but always ran to revive after doing a lap to lose enemies following us. We always stayed separate and took turns aggroing the boss. We ran out of ammo at least 3 times and at the end I was the only one with any while he ran and distracted the big guy. 30 minutes later he actually fell. Fucking epic feeling.

Yeah dude, I love to play through tough games that requires amazing persistence and patience to beat.

The small step by step progress and interesting adaptations to overcome the difficulty is my favorite part about it

enjoy it while it lasts, I really loved doing strikes for the first time but now I hate them.
The only joy I now get is from soling the nightfall/weekly heroic + raid and the occasional pvp (but only because I have the last word handcannon)

Anyone playing on PS4 want to team up? I have a 29 Hunter, 24 Titan, and 6ish Warlock, cool to play whatever regardless of level or area.

I just enjoy broop, the endgame is pointless to me.

How difficult would it be for a new player to start up? I read that the gear grind past level 20 is bullshit.
I got a level 12 warlock, but I'm considering restarting titan since I played last way back at fucking launch.
