I love driftan games, so ridge racer was one of the only things worth having for the ps3 in 2006 (what a shit year for consoles)

Bully, Company of Heroes, Dead Rising, Gears of War (although the franchise was overall shit the first game was something new for the time), Lost Planet, Prey.

The best Ridge Racer game is Ridge Racer Type 4 in my opinion.

It has the best atmosphere, chill music, very stylish menu design and a big collection of cars.

Compelling is the best word for it. If any of those points above were off, I mightn't have felt like going through all modes to unlock everything. But I did.
