However, people still want to feel special, and in the e-Sports scene there is such an overwhelming difference between male and female numbers that there is not enough pool for females for a significant enough statistical probability that some of them are better than the top edge male players. In other words, even if both sexes have par average skill, if one of them has enough numbers the other one doesn't get enough numbers on the top of the bell to actually produce members of that skill.
This is statistical probability though, and has little to do with whether there are actual women good enough to win a big championship or not, but I think you can get my point.
