Bubblehammer is the worst-case scenario ending of the current The End Times event for Warhammer Fantasy. Basically, some Mary Sue does something too cool for the universe to handle, and reality fractures into bubbles, one for each army. When the bubbles collide the armies inside them fight because otherwise there wouldn't be an excuse to push out new $500 powercreep models every year. It's a thought-free status quo that can be maintained indefinitely without any real effort on GW's part, which makes it even worse than 40k's status quo because at least there they have to at least make it seem like things are happening even if the timeline will forever be stuck at 999.M41.

Either it's that or a complete reboot at this point because damn near every army that isn't Tomb Kings or on Team Chaos (which now includes Skaven for some reason) has been squatted, either from being krumped by Chaos or eaten by the aforementioned Skaven. Or the Lizardmen, who fucked off to space after losing the majority of their warriors stopping the planet's warpstone moon from pulling a Majora's Mask and making the planet completely uninhabitable to anything that isn't already mutated to shit.

You can apparently play a WHFB Lizardmen army in 40k now. Jesus fuck, please let that be a troll.
