Yea, Gear with S6.
No but I mostly use it for coffee break games, chat and videos so I hardly "overdose". But I did almost hurl my dinner after trying to speedrun first episode of Quake.
I tell people to just get a cheap Cardboard headset or Gear if they already have compatible phone but with current prices and software offerings I would never recommend someone to blow 600 ducks on Rift or 400 on OSVR.
Also almost everyone who showed at least some interest in VR headsets had "no cables and portable" as their first priority, mostly every casual dropped any and all interest in Rift the moment I told them it has to be wired to PC and that was before I told them the sweet secret of 970 and i7 being recommended minimum. If Samsung made a 300USD version of Gear with some stripped down S6 powering it and bundled it with gamepad and headphones then I have no doubt that it would steamroll every other HMD out there. Fucking casuals with their mobile shit.
