The only thing I hated about the Facebook deal was the possibility that I'd actually have to buy a product from Facebook someday, and some concerns regarding how they could force proprietary things into the Oculus SDK/metaverse, like an ads system or some purchasing platform.
I never understood the arguments that people were scammed out of 2 billion, or people expected facebook accounts to be forced into their headsets.
