Alternative to nexus, our own project

i've been seeing alot of mods getting deleted and the content creator banned from nexus this is easily predictable
And to dodge this issue we had /vmshare/ created but limited to around 7/8mb because hotwheels would like to keep it that way and for a good reason I guess.
So here is my proposal and I guess some may or may not agree with me.
Do you support the idea of creating a "Nexus-like Clone" something different of course but at the same time, have much of the same features as nexus like uploading pictures and modfiles, being capable of commenting, having your own shitty profile, things of the sort, with the condition of not getting yourself banned by fags or having a shitty limit of 8 or 7 megabytes in file upload?
i'll leave the rest for you guys to decide what the name of this site would be or if you're an HTML fag that would like to help out it would be greatly appreciated.
Anyways, this is just idea based, nothing has been decided thus far but I think this is a great way to blow the fuck out of those nexusturd faggots once and for all, i'll even do videos on kiketube to promote this new dreamsite that you and I can share in the future while shitting on the nexusfags and exposing their cuckery to the world and how they "oppress" Dindu mods.
RECKONING
MOD DESCRIPTION
The reckoning is a single player mod for mount and blade warband. It is set in a post apocalyptic world where a strain of virus has wiped out most of civilisation. Surviving in this world is tough, packs of the undead roam the streets and gangs rob and murder the weak. The mod is set in southern USA and features various factions, these factions goals range from merely surviving… to setting up an entirely new United States.

I suppose it's an open source engine project, but they also modded the game
I just played a Tiberian Dawn skirmish and got my ass totally handed to me so badly I never would have expected it.
I have memories of playing the AI and encircling their base with sandbags and raping them at my leisure. It seems like OpenRA has highly modified the AI this might be worth looking into if you like Tiberian Dawn or Red Alert.
It can get game files automatically or use your CD/ISO, if getting it automatically it will not (seemingly) have in-game music but it's not hard to download the soundtrack for C&C
I'm honestly excited with the prospect that I can play a game from my youth again with real challenge. Holy shit
Deserves to be listed here because
1) They modded it, and not just units the AI is way better, also added command features
2) One of the best games ever
3) You can play it for free
This may be one of the best open source projects there is, and it's based on a licensed property go figure
Makeing game, includeing modding
Hello /vm/, /agdg/ here, I've embedded the lua interpreter for modding, and I'd like some feedback about the way I'm currently doing things.
All client side mods are located in Client/lua/<modnamehere>/
Inside this folder is where a mod should store all it's assets/code. Two files on the client are the entry point for the mod. First, bootstrap.lua this file is run immediately when the game starts (Before any graphical display even) and should be used to expose a mod's api to other mods. The second is client.lua, this is run when the player connects to a server. Neither file is required, and mods can have one without the other. To wrestle api's into the right order, there is a modorder.dat in Client/lua/ that is just a text file that lists what order mods' bootstrap.lua should be loaded in.
The server side mods are located in Server/lua/<modnamehere>/, servermods also have a bootstrap.lua, and a modorder.dat for api's. only difference is that servers run server.lua immediately after running all bootstrap files, and do not run client.lua
In order to add functionality through lua, you must register hooks with the game.

Currently, everything runs in serial with the main game, and I'm wondering if I should give each mod its own thread(so that one stupid modder that called sleep() doesn't break everything) or maybe just the lua engine it's own thread, and keep the graphical and networking separate. I'm also trying to think of a way for modders to keep net messages meant for "their" mod separate, instead of just trying to guess which messages are for them.
Any helpful hints about how to improve are appreciated.
Warcraft 3 - World Editor spells
People are doing crazy shit like vid related and I can't even make a spell that fires several projectiles at once.
I've been looking for tutorials but found none, only some that describe how to make one specific spell.
Anyone know of a tutorial or something? I really want to learn this but I don't think I can figure it out on my own.

Incomplete Modded Playthrough Idea: KKK in Skyrim
So I'm trying to create something like the KKK in Skyrim for a modded playthrough. I would recruit only Nord/human companions, support the Stormcloaks of course, and harass/kill elves, redguards, legion supporters, and traitor Nords. For the Civil War, I would try to avoid large scales battles, preferring my organization to be more of a home-front/gorilla warfare kind of deal with civilians meeting in secret. But I need some help. What should I wear for uniforms? What should I name this Klan? What are some other gameplay options I can do that relate to the cause? What are mods that relate to this? Should I add mages to the shit-list (I think lore-wise Stormcloaks don't like mages)?

Bethesta pushed for Valve to make a marketplace for modifications that would normally be free. While it might seem like a good idea at a glance, it's actually a terrible idea that could destroy the modding community as we know it. Think of it like this; If charging for modifications becomes the norm, then lazy devs like bethesta will rely on the community to fix their mods, however that modder will be forced to sell that mod to prevent someone else making money off his mod, then bethesta will get a cut of the profits for doing nothing other than making a buggy game.
You WILL have to pay for bug fixes due to mods creators being forced to sell them or someone else will sell that mod
So here's the plan so far will update if someone has a better idea: We email valve to stop charging for mods OR replace the prices on mods with an option to donate to a mod creator for his services. This shit can potentially kill the mod community. I've already seen it happen with the giantess community and I don't want that to happen to anyone else.
