Hi /vn/!

It seems like board rings are going to be important:
https://8ch.net/boards/res/4539.html
I have seen other boards mentioning similar stuff too.

What do you think about this?
https://8ch.net/boards/res/4505.html

It looks like >>>/tomoko/ and >>>/w/ are on board.

What do you think?

I hope you don't mind me making this thread, my apoligies if you would rather not see this.

I'd rather have nothing to do with /am/. They just shitpost and don't have any sort of discussion. I wouldn't want those sorts of posters here.

 No.317

As much as I'd like higher board activity, a board ring is a godawful idea.

We want higher board activity from both dedicated users and those interested in VNs. Something like this would only serve to bring in countless anime threads and shitposters, just like cuckchan /vng/.
So in short I oppose this because it's the wrong way to get more posters and will bring down board quality.

I think it's kind of a last resort for this board. If we see no growth over a long period of time we might decide to resort to these kind of things but for now the small but growing community we have is a great thing.
Thanks for inviting us, though. I don't have the final say in this kind of stuff but I'll ask the Board Owner.

Yeah… No.
As much as I like the idea of this board expanding. Which it is, just at a slowish pace.

I'd much rather have a dedicated userbase who are actually passionate about VN's than a bigger community where half the userbase is a bunch of Tomoko worshipping faggots.
We might be autistic here, but we will never be "Worshipping an anime character"-tier autistic.

Not saying it's wrong to like her, but dedicating a board to worshiping her because you see your own autismal-permavirgin flaws in her?
Is fucking _ _ _ _.

What did your mind naturally fill in there?
If it was anything except autistic, you're a fucking autist.
If it was autistic, congrats, at least you're projecting correctly.

/am/, you're alright. Mind you, it ain't exactly hard to be better than /a/.
/w/, the wallpapers are pretty but I'll stick to the one I've got.

This is just what I want for /vn/ the now.
If the volunteers and the general community want to be part of this ring, then fine.
I'm in, but until then.

I'll have to decline.
Cheers for the offer though.

You might think I have a personal vendetta against Tomoko, I don't.

I just hate "/a/ waifufag"-tier autists.
And that is what category /tomoko/ falls under.

Plus you double niggers ruined the Hex Maniac from XY and ORAS.

Confirmed best board owner.

You hate waifufags, yet you made a VN board?
I'll have to keep a close eye on /vn/, this could be pretty entertaining.

I don't hate the standard waifufag.
I hate /a/-level waifufags.

There's a difference.
Normal waifufags will post in best girl threads and enjoy banter among conflicting opinions.

/a/-level waifufags are the cancer killing anime.
1: "Sir, our anime is shit. It's has no worth. What do we do?"
2: "It's simple."
1: "Work on the story and character development?"
2: "Naw fuck that, we'll just add the biggest weeb-bait 'cute girl' there is."
1: "… Anything else?"
2: "We'll make it so… She has a crush on her brother."
1: "Fucking brilliant, just how do you do it?"
It then gets proceeded to be called the greatest anime of all time by /a/.
Meanwhile anime with actual great storylines and amazing characters do shite, and just mentioning them is enough to be bombarded with pictures of the almighty Costanza.

I'm a bit curious of your definition of "waifu" here. Is it something like pic-related? It should be anyways, /mai/'s definition is pretty solid even if that board's nothing but a giant circlejerk.
I completely agree with your bit about "/a/-level waifufags", and that's as an /a/non, I think half of /a/ would agree and half would disagree. I'm sure /a/nons who post in waifu threads on /a/ would agree completely.

 No.344

>>340
I think the difference is just with the voracity with which they inject their waifu's into everything.

Most waifufags will only discuss it in designated Waifu threads, while w/a/ifufags will inject it into every thread. A good example is how Grisaia discussion needed to be banned on cuckchan /vng/, because Michiru-posters were shitposting non-stop even when the thread had nothing to do with Grisaia.

Yeah, pretty much what >>344 said.
