Doubt there's enough of us here to really warrant having a thread for it. Reading Tasogare no Sinsemilia. It has a cool atmosphere and the underlying plot is a kind of neat, though the routes seem to kind all be fluff and simply building up to the true route. Hopefully the author goes all out and ties all of this together by the end.

As i've started reading i've noticed devs censor words like penis and pussy. Do they really have to do that, or is it just a joke about japanese censorship amongst devs?

Japanese censorship laws are weird, and it's easy to get in trouble even when you don't think you're doing anything wrong, so a lot of them do that just to cover their own asses. Basically the same reason you see the whole "all of the characters in this game are over the age of 18" thing so often. I think some also censor words because the seiyuu want them to.

Oftentimes it has to do with the seiyuu's casting agencies and the various rules they have to follow. Some games have it some games don't, some allow you to turn it on or off. It's nothing to do with censorship laws, from what I understand.
