it's pretty innovative, the characters aren't just 2d pictures slapped on top of a background. They move and even lip sync to every line of dialogue. it's not awkward looking 3D cgi anime girls either. It really did well with the graphics and overcoming the uncanny valley with 2D/3D animation.
