So since Mangagamer are still shitty jews determined to kill any hope of actual good translations of their licensed games, how has Jast been doing lately? Have they gotten any better? Last I checked they were DRM-free but still changing and censoring inane shit. Gotta know if I should pirate and buy the original Japanese games, or if some games are safe to buy in English.

I know.

Recently they removed Kokoro's (loli) scenes from Shiny Days as well as all the scat, bestiality and gore from Starless. Starless has a "totally not official" content restoration patch and presumably Shiny Days will as well.

Are there any good VN translation companies one could support?

Thanks, anon.

I guess not. I wish somebody would make one.

Sekai Project is probably the most jewish, really.

You can even sense them trying to promote multiculturalism, but I've probably just lurk too much in /pol/.

Wot, the scripts for multiple translations were scrapped because they weren't any good (FF/Higurashi). MG have changed incredibly since their first releases. No hard copies is shit and I only buy when they actually make them but considering the current standard for translations they're on the higher end for sure.

>how has Jast been doing lately?

Exactly the same as before, good quality but terrible speed. Although they're now censoring stuff and releasing patches "unofficially" but that doesn't make much difference as long as they do continue to release them.

Buying the JP versions won't encourage English releases, if you're content with fantranslation speed, quality and limitations then continue to do so. Not supporting the localization industry when they're doing actual good releases like current MG and Jast are will just mean we'll carry on seeing limited select releases of whatever translators like or actually get round to finishing, supporting official releases is the only way we can ever see a more complete range of devs titles.

Mangagamer has some EVN's, but Sekai Project is really rabid with picking up any one making a visual novel who wants to go to Steam.

Overall 'feeling' they radiate.
