It seems there is enough interest across the site to run at least one game of Myfarog as soon as a .pdf becomes available.
I am offering to DM a game after acquainting myself with the system, provided there is interest of course.

Started playing with D&D over 10 years ago. Have played D&D, Pathfinder, Dark Heresy, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Vampire: the Masquerade, Vampire: Dark Ages, Hunter: The Reckoning, Scion, Rifts, Palladium Fantasy, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, and a bit of Paranoia. Have run some games, but greatly prefer playing to running.

For Myfarog, I was thinking of going total rando and figuring it out from there. I've played games where I was a backstabbing priest and ones where I was a baker who ran away from every fight.

EST, avalaible 4pm to 12am Monday-Wednesday, no class on Friday or fuckall to do on the weekend so Thursday-Saturday nights are open to staying up all night.
>4. Text or voice?
Either's fine. Would be fun to do voice to get pronunciation correct on all the old norse, but I'm cool with either.

I have a skype and some experience with roll20, but really no preference. Teamspeak, ventrilo, skype, aim, whatever I just want to play Varg's game.

A friend and I have split the cost of buying a copy of the Myfarog book. It should be here within a week and a half.
I don't have access to a scanner at the moment but I will probably be able to improvise something by then.

Very little. I've played a couple WoD games, and a couple rounds of some simplified adaption of D&D.
I understand the basics of how an RPG is played, and some ideas of what not to do such as metagaming and powergaming/min-maxing.

I prefer the storytelling aspect more than the dice-rolling combat parts (which is why I enjoy WoD), but I'm too new to be able to know how I like to play.

Class timetables aren't available for selection yet, and my work timetable will be based around whatever my class timetable is. I should know when I'm going to be available before February.
I expect at the very least, Friday nights and Saturdays will be clear.

I prefer text because I appreciate my writing abilities more than my voice and my speaking skills.
>5. Preferred text/voice/tabletop software
I'd rather something simple and universal, such as IRC or Tox.
Whatever it is, I would strongly prefer something that works on Linux, because that is what my laptop runs.
