>>OH GOD ONLY SHITPOSTING ALL IS LOST
I concur that there is some truth in this, but, unless there will be a massive migration that will swipe away the core that is being formed now, the attitude you set at the beginning will define everything forever. "It has been this way on 4chan for years!"
>Do exactly what /svidya/ did when it was set up, m80: post - actually fucking post the content you want to see
I like the vidya-related content I see there already. I can see a couple of threads I can make a few posts to. This is the better way of participating for me as my threads rarely take off well enough.
I will probably make a few threads anyway if I'll see things are going the right way in general.
>instead of creating a meta thread about how everything is dildos.
As far as I can remember, I've never created one outside of a dedicated meta board, and I'm definitely not about to start. A certain board owner on that site, however…
>Or continue being a salty cunt.
I've been too burned trying to help keep /v/ in better shape over about 10 months. And trying to do the same on several other boards. If I knew things were going to turn out the way they are, I'd only go here for my video gaming needs as I'm mostly interested in older games anyway. It is just there still was place for them on /v/ for the longest time, I saw no reason to split into several boards like we did back on 4chan.
We shall see. If the majority from modern /v/, /b/ and the like are not only allowed to flourish but also encouraged, then I won't be wasting time and effort on the chan, sorry.
