So I might be convinced to contribute here, but I want to know a few things before I do, because filling a dead board with no lurkers or other posters doesn't inspire me to put the effort in.

1. Why have you started a new board instead of just flooding >>>/wx/ with vids so that the new pic rule makes no difference?

2. How do you propose making this board less of a clusterfuck than >>>/wx/ where it's difficult to find any threads actually worth looking at because they're randomized/not specific enough to be useful?

3. Considering >>>/wx/ is allowing pics now because it was a dead board, how are you going to grow this board into something worth coming to?

I have plenty of vids I could upload across a whole range of fetishes etc, but I want to know where this board is heading before diving right in.

1. I suspect that /wx/ will be flooded with images, making it hard to find video content. Being video only means that you don't have to go through tons of images just to find videos.

2. I was thinking of maybe making a "directory", or enforcing a "Porn category only" rule where all threads must be a category. I'll have to think on this one more.

3. This is a hard one. The only way to really grow a board is to shill, buy advertising (not happening), or hope someone will find it from the board list. That's the problem with the "create your own board" system. On, say, 4chan you have all of the boards right there, but on 8chan you have to dig for them yourself. It's tough, seems like shilling is the only option.

Ban cuckchan audioless videos, removing audio from porn is totally haram.

By the way, I like this board(and the total lack of stickies), all the way better than wx and his retarded moderation, will start dumping soon.

General question: do you guys think ripping the best videos from wx is ok? I don't have any objection to this, but I don't know about you guys.

I'm all for the category idea. In fact, I think the more specificity the better - and I feel it's better to go down the fetish route rather than specific pr0nstars/studios. So for instance, instead of having a HotKinkyJo thread, you could have a prolapse thread instead, which opens it up to much more content.

To that end, one of the things you could include in the rules is a guide to what different position are called, so that anons can refer to it if they're not sure what thread to post content in. For instance, I dig the reverse anal cowgirl when the cumdumpster sticks her feet on his legs and would contribute vids of that in order to find more from other anons, but I don't know what that specific position is called.

A weekly shilling on /b/ will probably bump up viewing numbers and contributions, though the few already lurking might need to fill this board with content first for it to be effective.

Merging threads would be ideal but as you say, not sure how possible it is on 8ch (maybe something to bring up on /operate/?).

I think it should be a relaxed rule. It's obviously only in place so that people don't upload shit soundless webms, but a lot of camshows don't get recorded with sound so the content in them will always be soundless. I think webms of soundless camshows should be allowed if they're on-topic. I agree that soundless webms of non-camshows shouldn't be allowed though, because that's just laziness.
