Also, I don't think a linux guide exists, and if it does, it's probably vague.

New laptop and I cant fucking get rid of the navigation buttons in explorer. Someone save me, whenever I replace them nothing happens or explorer crashes at startup. Ive tried replacing them manually and with the changer but still, it remains default. Is there a way to remove them completely from the vs? Could someone point me in the right direction? Also, w7 64bit

My 8chan rice is incomplete so have this cap from a few days back.
>>541Get better icons, get a better music player, stop using chrome.
>>558The borders around posts are bizarre, why are they like that? I also find your choice of colour, particularly on the 8chan board list, to be quite…interesting. You should probably do something about the huge checkboxes especially when you have them alongside that tiny font. One final minor point is the reply box on 8chan and the board title, they use a sans-serif font while everything else is bitmap.
>>559If it were me I'd use a dark grey instead of a pitch black for my windows, it's easier on the eyes.

I kinda did a revamp, the font is cure

Hi guys I really like windows It is better at most things I do compared to linux but windows customization is just non-existant and 3rd party software will fuck your files and hardware
Is there some savior? Somebody like jezus in the form of program light on resources [maybe lighter than windows theme] to save my sould?

No.1893

Honeyview and Notepad++ are fine on Windows (though VLC a shit). It is that you use Windows that is the problem to them; dual boot isn't hard after all.
>>1863
Hey, come to think of it, My clock in Windows is set up exactly the same way, with exactly the same font. And the theme is the same too. Even my Start icon is the same. I just use wallpapers from the no-people thread we have, on rotation. I don't like green much.
For the icons, just make an image with the text you want.

Couldn't figure out how to make a smaller minimalist taskbar so I just set it to auto-hide. The background randomly switches hourly and my desktop is clean except for the hidden folder under the windows icon.
