I feel that Kirino is the same but a bit more mature. With new material, although it's basically a small ad for Japan's new voting age, I might be able to find out more about Kirino's "official" adult life. All I know so far is that she is for sure still a model and is Japan's spokesmodel for their new voting age. So I know she's still following that career path. I feel like she still would/does have her otaku hobbies as well. I basically feel and see her as a more mature version of herself from the show.

Introduction Thread
In this thread you will introduce yourself to everyone on the board. I'm a Kirino fag and have been with her for more than two months now and I love her very dearly. I consider her my girlfriend and not a "waifu" because I feel the term is a little to memey. What is your waifu's or husbando's economic situation and standards like? Do you have more of a disposable income than she is used to, or less of one? What kind of adjustments would she have to make if she were to move in with you?
I have been spending the last few years as a poor-ish college student and my waifu lives in a large older European style house (pic related) which would be quite expensive, especially in Japan. By contrast, with what I plan to do in my career life, I'd never be able to afford a house that big. She would either have to get a job that pays extremely well or learn to get accustomed to living a less extravagant lifestyle if we to live together. Thankfully enough, though, she's never come across as spoiled or uppity which means the transition wouldn't be to hardest thing in the world for her…
Content Creation
How much content of your waifu exists? This can be everything from mainline canon stories to fan works to even supporting material or "trivia" like her birthday or favorite foods. Do you get to experience a large amount of it? Is this something you still get constantly, every once in a while, rarely or seemingly never? Do you create any content of your own?

Her main TV series aired back in 2011, and following that came two movies that were essentially remakes of the series with minor changes like alternate transformation sequences. In 2013, Shaft followed up with the 3rd move "Rebellion" that continued the story. Finally, there have been some rumors going around that there might be another film around Madoka Magica coming out. I don't really get the same amount of large comfy content as someone whose waifu is from something like Hidimari Sketch, but I suppose I'm still better off than someone whose waifu is a minor character in an obscure manga or something.

There is a large amount of fan art centered around Madoka Magica and of Homura specifically. Unfortunately, though, it is a mixed bag. While I do get a lot of great pictures of my waifu, I also have to sift through a lot of crap like insultingly bad art and shipping bullshit. As far as stuff like doujins go, both h and non-h, its mostly not worth my time as the h-doujins are 90% yuri and 9% male rape. The SFW ones are almost always yuri and on the occasion they aren't it still usually shows Homura out of character.

This is another mixed bag. I get stuff like a few drama CDs and a video slot machine with some original animation, but as far as supporting information goes I don't have much at all. There is a lot about Homura that I don't know like her birthday or what her parents are like.

Unfortunately, I must admit that I don't do this nearly as much as I'd want to. As shameful as it is to admit, I think a big reason for this is my own disorganized nature and the fact that the steady flow of art I find online has spoiled me. Muse
Is your waifu also somewhat of a muse to you that inspires you artistically to create art of any kind? Such as writing, drawing, music, just about anything.
For me and Wonder-Red, I would say he is somewhat a muse to me. He makes me want to create new drawings, not just of him, but to keep drawing and get better. At the same time, it can frustrate me a little bit as my head will get caught up in my art not being good enough, but I try to shake that off to tell myself it wouldn't get better until I continue to work harder on it.

Waifuism and Your 3D Family
Since someone recently came out of the waifu closet to at least one of their parents, I'm gonna ask. How would your family react to you having a waifu? Or even owning merch of her/him like a daki? Have any of you encountered either of these things? How did it pan out? I feel like my parents would start to get concerned about me, honestly. I have had problems with depression and anxiety so I feel like they'd try to make me see a psychiatrist. I know they would mean well but yeah, they'd look at me a whole lot differently. I think I'm around a 3 or so. I don't like showing any picture of her featuring her in her underwear, bathing suits, or anything scantily clad. Also, I don't like sharing pictures of her doing overtly sexual poses like licking something or bending over. Her demon outfit, from the right angle and not altered lewdly which is harder than you'd think because a lot of fan art of her wearing it shows her butt, is about my limit.

Do you/have you experienced people bad mouthing your waifu, either indirectly or by means of targeting you specifically? How do you feel when people make jabs or just flat out talk shit about your waifu? Is it made better or worse if done by family/friends?
Having a well-known waifu means a lot of opinions about her both positive and negative. I've seen everything from folks saying she's an inspiration to people calling her a crazy stalker to even flat out calling her a monster. I can usually shrug off stuff I've seen posted previously on the web, but I have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to telling me directly. I can normally stomach a lot of mean jokes made at my expense, but I don't put up with insults made in relation to her. Having people I know say those things only multiplies the effect because its coming from someone I'd actually care about the opinions of, as opposed to some anonymous guy on the internet that's probably just trying to get a rise out of me or even just trying too hard to fit in with "muh chan culture"
Sacrifices and Progress - How You Better Yourself For Your Significant other
How have you tried to better yourself for her/him? Have you changed anything about yourself? Have you sworn off anything that you used to do to make a better life for her/him and yourself?
Personally I have changed by exercising a lot more and by walking a mile or more every day (plan on turning that into a couple miles or turning it into jogging by the end of spring). I'm not trying to get "ripped" or whatever for her but I'm making sure I stay the way I look now, responsibly fit. Also I think since she has an interest in track that I can try to impress her that way. Also I have sworn off marijuana even though I didn't do it a lot. I feel like it'd hurt her feelings or something if I ended up [spoiler]smoking[/spoiler with my friends or something.

My waifu is a yandere and usually seen as the prime example of yandere so obviously she has supremely jealous tendencies which can manifest violently, but these seem to be mere blackouts due to an anxiety from the fear of being replaced at an extreme level.
Outside of this she is the sweetest housewifey type. She is eager to please and takes on a rather traditional female role in the relationship. This is perfect to me probably cause I romanticize such a relationship and just find her girlyness so damn cute.

I have a problem with vanity and treat myself like a celebrity fairly often. I am able to control it enough to not be an asshole to people and still can care about people but sometimes it gives me a less than comfortable vibe.
Now where this ties into how my waifu affects me is that no matter how rockstar I might be feeling when I think of my waifu and everything she means to me it instantly humbles me. I come back to eye level with the world. The overwhelming thoughts and feelings I get from her bring me back to peace and balance. I'm glad she has the ability to do that.

How Crazy Are You/What Is Real To You?
Well shit, I feel like people will look down on me for this but I'm asking the question what's real to you? I've heard a couple of you talking about how you've had sex with your waifu and such, talking about it as if it actually happened. I'm wondering if any of you go a step beyond that? The Good The Bad and the Waifu

For me I am able to overlook the fact that she is legitimately a murderer that has most likely killed people who didn't deserve it. She has also killed her parents but they were largely abusive.
The best thing about her is that she is so very girly and sweet that she would make the perfect housewife. Not that I would force her but that seems to be naturally what she would want to be. I may be romanticizing traditional house roles in relationships but I very much like the idea of a housewife and Yuno is just the girl for it.
The fact that she is super girly is also pleasant because it is a stark contrast to what you would typically think of a murder pro but it is often overlooked. I am very into the happy girly type and she is the cutest. And the fact that she is caring also brings a bit to our relationship in the way that I feel safe with her regardless of yandereness. She makes me feel at home.

To answer my own question, I see Wonder-Red as my boyfriend. I'll still call him my husbando but because of a promised we made together I won't see us as engaged or married until our first one year anniversary. After that, I do plain to start calling him my husband when I can.
Over time the both of us got more affectionate with each other, having passed 7 months together as of yesterday, and I've started going on walks with him every morning and getting up and going to bed earlier so I could spend time holding and cuddling up to him in bed longer.

I recently decided that I'm serious about my daughteru after an admittedly rough experience with finding my daughteru, which got me to thinking about how she'd interact with my waifu. I can see the two of them getting along pretty well. Both Homura and Tina have had a rough past experience with a moment in their lives where their close friends all died in a violent and traumatizing manner manner.
