PNGs are essentially zippped (zlib) BMPs. The way that compression works is more effective in larger images because it has more data to the predictor make guesses. With tiny images it is basically uncompressed BMP.

Jason Goes To Hell has one of the coolest trailers, and the title itself says "The Final Final", if you liked any from Part VI, you will watch it. And the point is, I didn't felt scammed, after paying for it, I said "this is how youi sell a movie". If they cannot sell me the movie, I won't gonna watch it, that's how it works. Just because everyone was seeing/talking about Gravity, that didn't made it any more appealing to me, and haven't seen it to this day, despite I could watch it on HBO.
For example, Jupiter goes High falls also into this cathegory. It just fails to lure me in. The Imitation Game, on the other hand, has a very cool trailer, which suggests it's a really good period drama with really good actors. And I am considering seeing it.
Both of them has the pretty actress in them, both of them offers an experience, and both of them started in the "what is this" cathegory for me, but The Imitation Game lured me succesfully, because if someone would ask me to go to the movies with them to watch it, I would go.
As for Jupiter, I can't imagine who goes to see it.
And if I fuck up my book's advertising, then no-one will read it, regardless of the quality. At the moment, when a guy pays for your work, you are accomplished. It's personal taste if you want him to actually have fun, be amazed, thriulled, etc. while seeing/reading/hearing it.
So far, I wouldn't pay a fillér for Jupiter, and probably would only watch it to prove that I was right.

I know for a fact that when Dark Knight came out, some said "bleh, ANOTHER Batman movie? wasn't 4 or 5 enough?" only to be blown away by the actual story. Imitation Game is a movie that relies on story and acting, and that is the audience it hopes to grab. You are a fan of that and that is why it grabbed you. You aren't a fan much of Michael Bay-esqe movies. SO opinions would dictate you wouldn't bother. But IMO, me personally, I'm just one to give things a chance. I don't feel like I lost anything and I chuck it under "Well that was a bad movie." Maybe Jupiter will be that, but I won't say it IS until I see it

Oops, didn't notice my trip was gone. Anyway I was at work and in the morning I deal with both little kids and seniors. There is a day care in my building so there are kids all the time.
