Yeah a long time ago, but he's made a couple appearances and he's coming back for the finale. The actor was originally replaced by Laurence Fishburne and then Laurence was replaced by some weird white guy. Neither as good as Grissom but the show was still watchable. Eventually I got tired of it though because of the usual drawbacks of formulaic TV shows.

I don't watch a lot of shows these days, but I used to enjoy shows like CSI and NCIS more than the newer, hip stuff that most young people prefer.
