But to give you a few basic reasons why I don't believe it.
1) Jews have been trying to push a 6 million figure for years. You can see it in newspapers from before world war 2 even began. This is a people group that have been playing the victim for millennia.
2) Hitler had a Jewish doctor and defended him against the more extreme party members. Himmler wrote a letter to one of the camps saying "the death rates (due to Typhus and starvation) must be reduced". If they were intent on killing all Jews, why would this happen?
3) Ridiculous stories such as Jews being made into soap and lampshades.
4) Contrary to what you said, extreme lack of evidence. Not only is it mathematically possible to burn the number of bodies they supposedly did, but there would have been plumes of smoke that rose miles into the sky, why was this never photographed ever? The Germans were meticulous record keepers, why has there never been any document outlining an extermination plan? The gas chambers themselves are a joke. Look up pictures of them. Some of them had standard wooden doors that would have certainly allowed the gas to escape and would have killed those on the outside.

Yeah a long time ago, but he's made a couple appearances and he's coming back for the finale. The actor was originally replaced by Laurence Fishburne and then Laurence was replaced by some weird white guy. Neither as good as Grissom but the show was still watchable. Eventually I got tired of it though because of the usual drawbacks of formulaic TV shows.
I don't watch a lot of shows these days, but I used to enjoy shows like CSI and NCIS more than the newer, hip stuff that most young people prefer.
