No.2666
Question to Americans, what state do you think would legalize marijuana next, and how likely would your state legalize it in the next 5 years?
No.2669
Seeing as I live in Georgia, not likely. They're trying to legalize hash oil for medical use in kids that are dying with cancer, but you have our dumbass State Patrol chief who's going all apocalyptic on everybody.
No.2680
PA: Possibly decriminalization in several years because of the new governor.
No.2682
I live in New York and I hope it becomes legal within the next 5 years.
No.2707
Washington DC:
Already happened.
The US congress said they are going to block it but if you know anything about DC politics you know we are the only little spot in the country that is not represented in congress. This is kind of a big deal for us.
The mayor and the police chief have already said they are not going to enforce it and the DEA does not feel like getting into the fight.
Legally and effectively pot is legal in DC.
You still can't sell it, buy it, smoke outside your home or grow more than three plants at a time.
No.2736
CT might vote on legalization in 2017 from what I heard
No.2790
Maryland is voting soon.
MD is all either a suburb of DC, Ghetto Baltimore or Hillbilly western MD.
It should pass.
No.2805
Georgia passed its first limited MMJ bill so you might as well celebrate that.
No.2806
I have no hope of it becoming legal anytime soon here in VA, but DC is like 20 minutes just down I-95, so it's not that bad.
No.2811
>>2790Probably.
Virginiafag here. Unfortunately half our state is bible thumpers in the piedmont, or rich-ass babyboomers in NoVa (and to a lesser degree Richmond and the Tri-Cities area), and both of the aforementioned groups would protest the fuck out of it.
At least the Tidewater and Richmond are largely ghetto, they probably would let it pass.
>>2806>Living in Nova instead of RichmondIs weed cheaper up there? Here in RVA it's mid-priced, but we have a lower cost of living over all. I want to move to Chesapeake where the rent is dirt cheap and I have some niggas who can hook me up
No.2813
>>2811They have rich liberals up there, so you never know. That's why your state has been voting democrat in the presidential elections recently. Even though it's illegal and they try to control it, ATL doesn't have too badly priced weed.
No.2839
>>2666New Jersey.
Us niggas need to chill out.
Why do shit states like Vermont and California get all the legalization?
No.2844
>>2811Prices aren't that bad up here in NoVa. I pay slightly under 20 dollars a g, and it's always quality bud, but my guy grows on the side, so what I get probably doesn't accurately portray what the real quality is like up here.
No.2859
califag reporting.
2016 is our year.
No.2876
>tfw Oregon
We're officially legal starting in June.
I kinda want to say one of the western Mountainous states will be next, maybe Montana? People seem to be pretty chill up there. If not then California, since they've had medicinal for a while now.
No.2895
>probably going to be on the ballot next year in my state(Nevada)
>already decriminalized in small quantities, along with medical
>polls claim that there are a sufficient amount of supporting voters
>more non-smokers wanting to legalize it for money to put towards improving the shitty public education system and bringing in tourist money while it's still illegal in most other states
It's not as hyped as other states, but the future looks bright.

>>2896Hopefully not too far. They've already decriminalized it. Hell you can even have up to 25g in New York City with immunity from getting arrested. Plus they're not even writing tickets in NYC so smoke all you want.

>>2981Richmond isn't even that ghetto nowadays. VCU has exploded over the past 10 years, so the land values have skyrocketed. Now most of the worst crime is way off on the east end.
But yeah, most of the rest of the Piedmont is basically bible belt
>>2813Numerically I'd think most of the blue votes come from working class blacks in the tidewater. Them and Piedmont conservative whites are probably the two largest single cohorts.
Luckily it seems most of the younger generation of country folks are way more relaxed about weed than their parents
BTW any richmondfags like to blaze it at the river?

oklahoma
our state, because its so fond of states rights, is trying to sue colorado over its weed legalization, so i'm gonna go with "extremely impossible."
recently, a family from tulsa went up to colorado on a vacation or something and their dumbass son ate five times the recommended amount of edibles because he was too impatient for it to kick in and he didn't read the fucking label. he started tripping balls and they decided it would be a good idea to just leave him alone, and they had a gun with them. fucker blew his brains out. the family is trying to blame it on the evil devil weed.
i fucking hate oklahoma so much but i really just want to get high and chill in the wichitas or roam around tulsa and not be paranoid about it. i don't think it's too much to ask. bible thumping ignorant yokels ruin it for the rest of us. even goddamn mississippi has decriminalized.

Kansan here.
We'll probably be #26 to legalize it if the trend of more states legalizing it catches on. The only reason being is because half of our population lives in Kansas City, the most liberal city in Kansas.
That doesn't stop a big drug market here though. I am currently a 5/10 on the highness scale.

That sounds like Darwin Award material
Except the bible-thumping prohibitionists from Oklahoma probably don't believe in natural selection either

Iowa has legal medical cannabis oil but the law basically means nothing as the people have no way of getting the oil legally. They still have a ways to go. It could happen in 5 years, who knows.
