If word bearers had the genetic flaw of being overly loyal to their primarch can it be assumed that Lorgar had the flaw of being too supportive of chaos rituals ?
Him being willing to go through with a fully pagan ritual and sacrifice a custodes is something ridiculous even for someone who is incredibly mad at Guilliman and Big E.
Sacrificing his sons to an unknown entity for an unknown price sounds even more ridiculous.
Could this genetic predisposition to support chaos really exist ? Or could this simply be attributed to him being weak and willing to go along with the decisions of others.

I see it as more of a problem with the primarchs being too godlike, him sacrificing a lesser being in his eyes would surely be no worse than a human doing the same to a monkey or something
