Why is it this place can hardly survive 2 weeks of constant activity, I normally check back every few days to find this place has ground to a halt.
Surely with a universe and I.P as expended and detailed as wh40k it wouldn't be so hard to keep a place like this active.
I mean, I know /tg/ is active and most of the time you can find some 40k stuff there every now and again, but I thought Wh40k would've had a stronger dedicated presence here since people used to bitch about how they wanted one on halfchan.

I doubt this board is inactive due to the 40k fandom dying out without explanation, but rather to do with /tg/ being one of the very few active places on 8chn that regularly holds topics about wh40k there.
Anyway, has this place been advertised at all to get new regulars because I've been lurking around this site and only just found out this board existed.

I think people overestimate how popular Warhammer is. GW certainly hasn't helped matters on terms of how they treat their customers and fanbase. Also without lack of decent titles from Relic (cause THQ went bust) there is little that is going to drum up interest with people unfamiliar with the franchise (since a lot of what that is coming out looks like crap).
Then there is also very little publicity for this board. I personally found out about this place by word of mouth.
So yeah a few good reasons why this board struggles.

Tbh I'm relatively new to 8chn. Spend most my time on 4chn…as of late its been quiet a dissapointment so I came here. I was delighted to fine an actual 40k board.
I'll see of I can recruit from my pool of 40k friends although can't guarantee results. But hey I'm here! Shows with time ppl will stummble upon this board.

I too migrated from 4chan, this board's activity is pretty inconsistent, one week we'll have about 16 active members (Mostly in the EC thread) and the next we'll have about 6. Any more members would be greatly appreciated but we're pretty stable.
