Hi /Wh40k/

I played VERY little Warhammer 40k as a kid 5-6 years ago and want to play again for some reason.

I used to play space marines idk why they looked cool I guess, and ended up with a lot of marines, 2 squads of terminators, 1 commander, 1 squad of snipers, a dreadnought, 2 predators and 1 land raider crusader. Safe to say I sucked at the game.

Now I want to return and is struggling to pick an army, Blood angles, Grey knights or Space Wolves.

So which one should I pick and if so what should I buy and what of my previous army can I transfer over?

The easiest would be Blood Angels, since they use roughly the same models (and both Space Wolfs and Grey knights use very different helmets and iconography). You can also always keep your entire army as vanilla space marines and use one of the chapter tactics (iron fists are seemingly quite fun), or the dark angels (pick related). If you play blood angels you can pretty much keep everything, although you may want to convert your dreadnought into the stronger furioso dreadnought which is of course one of the strenghts of the blood angels. I personally prefer drop pods if I play space marines, but that is entirly up to your own preference. I would recommand flavouring up your excisting army with some death company and/or a sanguinary priest, for those sweet blood angel only tears. If you are determined to play Grey Knights you can always just play vanilla space marines and use a gray knight strike squad and terminators (preferably with a librarian, to make use of those warp charges). And lastly, if you are realy into converint, you could just glue wolf shit icons all over your models and call them space wolfs, althoug to really make them usable you will need to add and replace many units. TL;DR: Space Wolfs and Grey Knights can only use few to none of your current units, Blood Angels can.
