While I am very interested in genuine Norse paganism – the actual ideas and concept held by the Norsemen, parts of the community puts me off neo-paganism.
It's like the Atheism+ crowd – they bring their pre-held beliefs and ideas into it. They try to blend their ideology with the mythology, when it really has to place there at all.
There are of course honourable exceptions, such as the Ásatrúarfélagið.
