I'm reading threads from early 2013 on the internet archive now, and I'd forgotten how great it was. Everyone was empathetic, almost every thread was interesting, and there was no failed normie meme. Looking at wizchan now, there are too many unnecessary rules, many posters are unsympathetic and rude, and there aren't even any interesting threads anymore. Almost every thread has jerks insulting someone or accusing someone of being a failed normie, ruining any potential for discussion. The environment is too hostile for me, and it seems that many others feel the same based on the decline in post quality.
