Only one mod had the ability to moderate the secret boards. I don't know why that user just didn't change is IP and start using the site normally thou. I think that mod and user had some type of personal vendetta with each other.

Glaive was my favorite admin to work with, my biggest issue with him was that he would overturn mod bans pretty regularly. but at least he was attentive with the site. It was pretty bullshit how he went to cwc to defend himself.
I hated Ana, the rules under Glaive and Copy worked fine for so long, I had no idea why he changed everything. Rule 4 was fucking stupid and only served to give more work for us and create tension between the users and mods.

I was wondering if his disappearance, as well as the site going down, was just a grand ruse, but that seems doubtful that at this point. I think he would've ended it as soon as there was talk of making new sites to replace wizardchan.org, or when the OP of this thread declared his intention to leak the handbook if the site didn't come back.
I don't know what to think. The an hero hypothesis has some problems, the ruse hypothesis at this point seems extremely doubtful… did he just become a normie and stop giving a shit about the site? Some of the rule infraction severities give the impression that he is guilty of several counts of normalfaggotry in his personal life, perhaps the worst one being having female friends.
Here's another guess at what happened:
