Anyone here saw the past two Smackdown episodes? AJ Styles and Kalisto had good matches, better than anything on RAW. Last week, Kalisto defended his US championship against Neville, which was fun to see. Stykes fought Curtis Axel and while Styles looked good, it was still a squash match against Axel.

Today Kalisto defended his belt again bit against Kevin Owens which was good too, with Dolph Ziggler on commentary, Owens was mad at Ziggler, wonder if they will feud. Styles wrestled against The Miz and boy this was good, the best WWE match I've seen all year not saying much but yeah,it was still great. Styles was good as usual but The Miz fought back quite well, haven't seen him be that good in a long time. I liked that how balanced the match was.

Jericho was on commentary and challenged Styles for a rematch for next week's Smackdown. I assume Kalisto might have another title defense too.

I've watched the past few smackdowns solely for the styles matches and yes, theyre getting better

Its worth watching now for the lower card belts.

The announcing is a million times better than RAW because of

1.Mauro Ranallo actually calling the moves instead of plugging the network

2.Heel Lawler shitting on everyone, including byron saxton

I was kinda hoping that jericho vs styles would be at fastlane but im still going to watch it on smackdown

Yeah I watched them, heel king being a thing again is great and is burning the fuck out of Byron "woah, wow" Saxton. Ranallo is bringing his a-game from New Japan on AXS and sounds interested. All around it focuses more on matches and has less emphasis on Romain lettuce Reigns, but still a bit too much on him. It's going to be a shame when they muzzle Ranallo and SD! goes back to being the filler show after the writers and Vince stop caring again.

Recent one was neat, AJ & Jericho first fought Social Outcasts in a tag team match and then had their singles match as the last one of the night where AJ lost, I think that they'll have a 3rd match at Fastlane. That was a good match, at least as good as AJ vs The Miz last week.

Roman Reigns wasn't there at all so that was a big positive.

Brock Lesnar is going to appear on Smackdown next week, his first appearance in 12 years. Wonder why he's doing that.

Hate it when a good wrestler isn't convincing anymore just because creative royally fucked up everything about him. Happened to way too many wrestlers.

KO & Zayn are the only people likely to win since the rest are jobbers Ziggler at this point at best could be the dark horse. I think KO will win it, maybe build up KO vs Zayn after WM while Owens continues with a decently long title reign.

Actually, it's not. His first mania was WM28 where he joined Team Teddy to fight Team Johnny which ended in Eve Torres low blowing him. Was horrible, I genuinely felt really bad for him back then even though I wasn't greatly fond of him. He's turning 31 in May and it 4 years ago was when he got buried, that's too early of an age to do so, I wonder if he can ever get over again, he's decent on NXT but I'm still not so hyped about it.

It's just been too long and trying to make him seem like a serious competitor when he was internet champ like however long ago and is still using a gimmick from said time that was just a fad makes him look lame. I wouldn't put it past creative to have Dolph win because they seem really focused on him with the "good talent being under-utilized" schtick.
