This thread is to discuss meetup points across the states based off of where /k/ommandos reside. Post your general location here. There was a map, but not everyone registered where they live, and many people dont want to make that public info, so we will just discuss rally points here. We could essentially make /k/ like a fourth world nation (a nation within the borders of another) We will also discuss radio communications. Please dont debate the callouts or attire here, the other thread is still open, its just saging. im posting it here so others know it thoughITT: Beaver Island
Lets talk about Beaver Island, also lets talk about some things we'll need if we live on this Island, does anyone know any Carpentry / blacksmithing?
Also does anyone have any experience managing a somewhat sizable boat?
anyways some things about the Island:
>32 miles from mainland
>is pretty fucking large
>has a couple farms on it
>has a port
>is rich a Game and so are the surrounding Islands
fuck floods
>It's in a fresh water lake so no droughts
>pre made houses for us
The first major SHTF rendezvous point
Midwestern Streloks Only
Magpie here.
So, we still need to establish the rendezvous point in Illinois in which will be the spot mostly everyone meets before our move to Beaver.
Where in IL is it going to be? I was thinking that during one of our first IRL meetups we could discuss it, but frankly I don't have means to get to much anywhere, and the happening will be coming very soon, and I want to AT LEAST know where I'm heading to meet everyone else when SHTF.
I've already proposed the Woodsmoke Ranch in LaSalle County, couple hours away from Chicago. It's hidden, the whole county is mostly powered by hydro/wind electricity, and it's in a position where we can maneuver away from major roads and/or population areas, while also being do-able for most of the Midwestern streloks.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas?
Reminder, this is discussion for Midwest streloks ONLY.
Westerners got their plan, Southerners got their plan, and Easterners got their plan.
This is planning for us Midwesterners.
You guys here about this shit? http://8ch.net/n/res/257412.html
Feeding animals and ourselves
Ok wrol I have relatives that have a land (roughly 250 acres) that is currently sort of a farm. My question is how do you feed animals in a situation were you cannot go to the local feed store and buy feed for them? This question has bothered me so much that I've looked into super low maintenance and highly efficient (amount of food they yield per amount of fuel and water you put in them) animals. I've found certain insects (crickets and meal worms) to be far superior to any classic farm animal in fuel and water requirements. Further questions would be what is the best way to feed ourselves in a situation were one cannot simple go out and purchase foods. because depending on the length of a situation will determine weather you need to produce food or if you can simply live off a stored amount of food.

Body Armor, armor for the body
Greetings my fellow Streloks, this is Warscribe.
I wanted to talk to you today about “body armor”. This is not a discussion about the merits or need for armor, this is for those Strelok that have made a decision to utilize it or are curious/interesting in obtaining some.
First, let me start by saying; this is not a “YOU MUST BUY THIS” shilling, this is to help Streloks recognize the different types of armor, it's application, and associated subject matter.
*NOTICE: Body armor may be illegal or require a license in your state/region/county/reservation/country/nation. DO NOT purchase any body armor until you've THROUGHLY reviewed the law in your area regarding the possession and purchasing of body armor.
**NOTICE: This is not an official document, guide, or literature, nor is it endorsed or produced by any agency, organization, company, business, division, subsidiary, or any other entity. The information provided is collected using various sources of data. This is a friendly guide to help individuals become familiar with different types of body armor and it's applications.
Assuming it is legal for a Strelok to own body armor;
Firstly, DO NOT basis your needs off of the kit of others, especially photos off the Internet. This isn't airsoft/paintball. You need to assess your own situation and needs.
Secondly, body armor isn't an “End All, Be All”. It is another tool in the tool box. It is what is known as a “Force Multiplier”, another piece of equipment that can help you survive select situations.
Thirdly, body armor is know by various nomenclature. “flak jacket, bulletproof vest, plate carrier, skull bucket, ect…) In this discussion, “body armor' will be used as a universal term to describe all of these.

Hello, WROL. I don't know how much of this will be applicable to WROL situations but I thought I would drop some books I think would be useful.
I have many books of happy
Lock picking and lock copying (So you can steal gas from the closed down bus stations that have diesel stored)
CIA shit (For manipulating the people or your environment)
A handcipher that I found that works pretty good. (But I will probably share my own later.)
Books on hand cipher cryptanalysis (Secure your own comms and compromise the enemy's)
Drug growing crap (if you can grow pot you can grow barley and some potatoes)
Medical (epidemiology and mil manuals)
Shit ton of Military Manuals
Poor mans James Bond
Some persuasion and psychology books
Books I considered weird/unethical/or have no real place to put but are generally useful for spreading death. (Sad faic)
I have around 200 books, I will post those that I consider of quality to post. These were found on clear net using filetype:pdf searches or on Tor.
Let's Gas The Kremlin!
So lets talk about CBRN/NBC…
What are your plans in the occurrence CBRN event?
What equipment do you have? Is it up-to-date/serviceable?
What's your plan for obtaining information?
Just a few of the questions we should be asking ourselves, what are your questions or concerns?

Cryptography thread?
Cryptography thread.
Alright faggots, y'all need to learn about making codes and ciphers.
Lets start off firstly what are codes and what are ciphers.
A code, 1 input 1 output. Much like a word in a dictionary. Generally for words or for phonetic sounds.
British = Dong
Coming = Expanding
THE DONG ARE EXPANDING!
The shortfall to codes are that they are generally a 1 to 1 conversion. Repeat one thing enough, it sticks out to the cryptanalyst. They're bulky as well.
Code books are large, easy to steal, and generally inconvenient. Bible code = shit guys, everyone knows it. Even my Grandpa. Also, codes are used incorrectly many times.
Use the code for a name, not for an action. Lets say its back during chanology,
Hack = snorkle
DOS = pancake
Lets Pancake paypal.com
The target is known to those listening, so they know something will happen to paypal.com but what is the question.
Shekel lords = Visa
Lets DOS Shekel Lords
There are more whos, than whats in the world.
A cipher… its math pretty much.
K = Key
O = Operation
M = Message
C = Ciphertext
(C) = ((K+O)M)
If I can math correctly, this means Ciphertext is Key and Operation plus one message.
Change the key, different output, change the message, different output, change the operation….. obviously different output.
The shortfall of the cipher is that there are unintended shortcuts (breaks) to the plain text.
For the best security, you're going to want a cipher. You can encrypt a code with a cipher but if you're going to do that, just go with a cipher.
Power/cooking in post collapse society
Greetings streloks! I'm new to this board from /k/. I'd previously written it off as a dead board, but it seems to still get a few posts per day and I realized that the best way to revive a dead board is to go on it.
Anyway, since bugging in is clearly the best choice for temporary wrol (as all wrol really is), do you guys plan to power your house/apartment at all? If so, how? If not, why?
I've been interested in solar panels and electronics lately, and I'm thinking of trying to build some sort of solar stove for unlimited renewable stealthy cooking if the grid goes down. I'll probably avoid using any fixed lighting because of the potential for attention it could draw, but cooking post-collapse seems like a serious issue. I haven't seen people talk about it other than using a charcoal grill, but that's really conspicuous. What are your post-collapse cooking plans?
Also, get yourself a Luci light if you haven't already, this thing has saved my ass during the frequent blackouts where I live.
Good, reliable weapons
ITT: post guns thar are very reliable and talk about them. Also, correct me if i am wrong about these. Use redtext to point it out so everyone can see how dumb OP is.
AKM/AK74 series rifles
G3/PTR-91 series rifles
FAL/SA-58 series rifles
These rifles are extremely reliable.
The AK is known for being able to use any type of ammo thrown in it and still function properly. Some AKs use proprietary parts, while others use commonly found parts which can sell for cheap. The issue is corrosive surplus ammo, and optics. Many AKs are minute-of-man at 100m, usually 3 MoA. They are on the small side for big guys (im 6'3", i cant use one easily), and weigh slightly more than an AR. They may not be accurate, but they work. Not really useful beyond 250m unless you know what youre doing. But at that range. You want a full power round. This cheap intermediate-cartridge firing rifle is nice, but prices have climbed over the years. Expect to pay 600$-800$ for a decent one. High end ones go for 1,600$, and probably arent worth it. 1,000$ is about what is paid for a good one.
The G3/PTR-91, though less known, is more reliable than the FAL series rifles, for the fact it has no gas port, and is less vulnerable to sand issues. Firing the .308/7.62 real fuckin NATO, it is more powerful than the AKM, because .308 > 7,62x39, and more accurate than both. The delayed roller blowback design allows for the bullet to leave the barrel before cycling the gun, getting maximum velocity. There are some issues with some rifles where the roller depths arent proper, but for the most part, this is fine, and can be fixed by replacig the rollers, or entire bolt carrier. G3 mags are 2$/per, and spare furniture is extremely cheap. The downsides are odd mag release (fixed by gunsmith for 60$), and the front non-reciprocating charging handle. This gun is large for me, so it should be huge for small people and those vertically challenged folks. Designed off of the CETME, which was designed by an escaped Nazi off of the STG-45 schematics, this gun is about as old as the AK design. These prices vary on model, from 800$-2,100$. The cheap ones shoot around 1-2MOA. expensive ones are real heavy, but go sub-MOA out of the box. Not really needed in a SHTF rifle.
FAL/SA-58, though the less accurate of the bunch, is very reliable, and looks nice. The sights are good, the piston system works wonders, the charging handle is on the receiver, and it fires the 7.62 real fuckin NATO round. Theyre decent rifles, but mags are less and less common. Another issue is there is the inch pattern, and metric pattern, which can fuck you if you dont pay attention. Aftermarket parts arent as cheap as the G3/PTR, but theyre nice. Not as nice though, because Magpul makes a PRS stock for the G3/PTR, so you can have sexy PSG-1 clone. FAL was used as a Rhodesian battle rifle. Never shot one, i hear theyre as (in)accurate as an AKM is (2-4 MOA). These run 1,000$-1,500$ Each now.
Back to Basics
Lets talk extreme basics /wrol/
This is a pretty cool board and lets face it. A vast majority of the site, me included, are out of shape and don't know a shit ton about innawoods. Picked up a bag to turn into a bugout bag/hiking bag when needed. Came with a manual. Check these sick tips on how to pack your shit.
>Give me your best basics, assume your audience is from the deepest depths of /v/
Highly compressed Offline wikipedia and other wikis
http://www.kiwix.org/wiki/Main_Page
Also, what else should be stored or installed in a laptop, tablet or other computer?
I have some books dealing with stuff such as farming, medicine, pharmacology (mostly medicinal plants and other easy to obtain substances), guerrilla warfare, physical training, water procurement and filtration and a few other things I can't remember off the top of my head.
The main problems are that they are a bit disorganized and of varying quality and up-to-date-ness.
BOB & SHTF Essentials
Mainly, I am wondering what you consider priority to spend your sheckles on in the first days of The Happening.
>Shit hits the fan
>go to bank and pullout all money, loans, credit.
>Go to stores and buy
_____
_____
_____
_____
_____
Everyone is already buying up ammo and getting BOB bags. Make sure you have a few guns and at least 1k rounds for each.
As far as Bug Out Bags, there is plenty of material to read without asking here.
Skills and Abilities
When SHTF we are going to need doctors, farmers, fishermen, mechanics, tailors, smiths, carpenters, and everything else necessary to support a settlement. So far as I know, we haven't actually taken stock of what skills we all bring to the table. Therefore, in this thread post:
>What you know/role you could fill
>What people who you could bring with know/role they could fill
and if you notice a particular deficiency:
>What you could learn
Also, post any other information about what you could bring to the table when SHTF. This could be military experience, equipment (e.g. I live on a farm and could bring seeds) or any other miscellany.
I'l start then
>Know
Basically fuck-all. I have a very basic understanding of agriculture and know a bit about carpentry.
>What people I know know
My dad is a skilled carpenter with ~30 years of experience, My uncle is an engineer working for GM. His hobby is Ham radio and he has a big-ass tower in his backyard. My mother is an excellent accountant and a skilled organizer, and I know a few people who hunt regularly
>What I can learn
I want to expand my knowledge of agriculture, (I figure all of us should have a decent grounding in that) and I want to learn some first aid. (Also something I think all of us should have at least a basic amount of training in)
>What I can bring
My uncle owns a small fishing boat we /may/ be able to lug across the state, and my dad has a complete carpentry workshop in the basement that could be raided.
ITT: Southern meetup general (Post-happen)
So people said rocky top but that one faggot was just talking shit so its high time we find a new location,
I propose Theif neck island in the watts bar lake (the "lake" is more like a river, and I' think it connects with the Mississippi river at some point)
It's large enough that if we camp out in the forest in the middle we should be able to light fires and things without being seen, also impossible for sniper fire.
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.7986183,-84.6617061,2582m/data=!3m1!1e3
We could be here for a few months up until the final trek to Beaver Island, in that time were going to have to find boats, food, weapons and ammunition, and perhaps normalfags that are willing to come with us.
>B-but wot about winter!
Down here in NC it isn't too bad so I'm assuming its the same for Tennessee, and on the bad snowy days there probably won't be too many raiders wandering about so we could light fires and use jackets.
any other possible locations?
Since this board is very particular, and there are to be only a handful of users, we should stop being "anonymous." We are discussing meeting up, and possibly one day working together to ensure the survival of America and Freedom. There is no point to have to tell us who you are in each thread by saying what part of what state youre from, so why dont we do this?-
Start namefagging
In your name, you should add your state as well. It should look like this in the name field:
"(state abbrev.)- YourNameHere #PasswordHere"
Maybe use this thread to tell us about yourself.
Maybe use this thread to explain your goals if SHTF.
Maybe use this thread to tell us how big of a faggot i am.
Maybe use this thread to tell us how shitty of an idea this thread is.
Maybe use this thread to add your own ideas.
Post-Apoc Data-Hoarding
After we get a stable source of electricity, we will have our technology back.
The question is, what do we want after SHTF?
What kind of literature, animation, movies, music, etc. Do you guys want?
(This doesn't give anyone an excuse to slack off, just to keep morale and mind up.)
Just a reminder...
WROL does NOT mean the same thing as SHTF in the broad sense.
A time Without the Rule of Law can be anything, from nuclear bombs being detonated, to a bad blizzard which knocks power out and blocks the roads. It doesnt have to be "grab the gun, lets go." Mare likely than not, it is going to be a hurricane, a blizzard, or an extremely bad earthquake. Next likely would be rioting, then a civil uprising/revolution, then a nuclear war, then invasion.
The chances of the USA being invaded are slim to none, seeing as our gun owners outnumber every military on earth combined. Foreign nations dont have the means of transportation to get here like we do to go elsewhere.
We should focus on storms and preparedness rather than combat readiness here, though combat and weapons are extremely valuable to us. Not everything can be solved with a gun.
We should also focus on bugging in more. As someone else said, bugging out is dumb and a last-ditch effort thing. You have no reason to abandon all of your shelter, supplies, food, water, ammo, guns, and protection unless there is a serious threat. Running "innawoods" with your SKS is a terrible idea, especially if you have few survival skills. Youre more apt to die due to the nature around you than an enemy combatant if you have no skills and no preset shelters. Staying in your home is a good idea, and running off is a last-ditch effort, only to be used if youre certain youll be safer elsewhere.
Trading goods
What are some items you should have that are good for trade after SHTF since money will be worthless? How do you trade with people and not get killed when word goes around that you have goods or that people won't just kill you on sight when they learn you have goods?
Can you list some things you think will be good to have and trade?
ITT Agriculture/Wild edibles
so when we get to Beaver Island or whatever the fuck were going to, were going to need to do agriculture, also when were going to wherever were going were gonna need to know some wild edible plants, starting off with easy ones that are easily recognizable:
>Dandelion leaves
>Kudzu leaves, and their roots make coffee somehow
>Cattail stems, the lower stem near the roots that's white.
>Wild Onion
>Blackberries
ITT: Locations and Meetups
Okay lets list all the locations we have in mind thus far:
>rocky reach damn
>Beaver Island
>Rockytop
Lets use https://maps.google.com/ and look for locations. Also lets look for locations for chapters, I think rocky reach and rockytop are Main chapters and beaver island is chapter Finish, but people should look for a chapter for Illinois and Massachusetts, perhaps even a different one for the west coast.
I can't use google maps at the moment because of things, but I may be on it later tonight looking for locations. Also can someone find the country map that isn't rattled with the chapters and migration routes so we can attempt at making more effecient models.
