I'm gonna ditch the Marlin 336 if SHTF, since .35 Remington is fucking unobtanium. I'll probably take the nugget, give the O/U to one of my buddies, and the Marlin Model 60 to another buddy.

So, I want to avoid NYC like the fucking plague, if shit hits the fan, for obvious reasons. And NJ wouldn't be much better.

It's a bit away from you since you're Nassau, but I was thinking about somewhere near Kings Park Bluff. Not the bluff itself, but close enough since a boat there could get us off the island quickly. There's islands between there and CT that we can hole up on for a night or two, a few have a house or two. If we get lucky, somebody might leave the key to a boat in the boat itself, and we can get to CT via that. From there we could go north through CT, cut west through upstate NY, go through Lake Erie and bypass Cleveland and Detroit, then cut north to Beaver Island.

>Go to islands offshore of CT for a night or two, preferably one with a house

>Go north through CT. Avoid the middle of CT, as it's urban as fuck. Western CT is both closer to the destination and more rural

It's close to my place, so I can move all of my equipment over there quickly, and my buddies know exactly where it is. The house itself is pretty shitty inside, but me and my buddies know the location decently. It's on an intersection, so there's good coverage of the streets. Exactly five miles from the boat docking area of Kings Park Bluff, straight line. Been abandoned since last October, and it's a complete shithole, so people would probably avoid it.

Just short of one mile away from the boat docking area, highlighted. It'd probably suck to just wait innawoods for a day or two depending on how many streloks on the island are coming with us. But it's near the bluff. There's also plenty of residential between the park and the boat docking area, and with that comes plenty of buildings to hole up in.

It's a bar right on Old Dock road, which leads into the bluff. Pretty self explanatory. Liquor is good in SHTF for barter, medical shit, etc. Woods to the north of it, mite be a gud fallback point if we need to abandon the bar. Boat docking area is 3,000 feet directly to the west.

GOALS:

I've traveled all my life, but my home is Mississippi. If I'm still in the states in the event of SHTF, I'll go there first, probably for a month or so to make sure that my family is okay.
