19e072 No.66

We are planning to meet in VA for the East Coast, we have some ideas but nothing final so I'm not going to mark it down, name places ITT where you think we should try to live in.

I am in MA and have no clue where to go. Can you tall me any supposed to be rally points if it goes south.

Im in MA too.

I stronkly suggest meetup in PA, because to get to VA we have to pass through NJ and MD. I dont know how many of you have had issues, but ive heard from multiple people in my town that NJ police like to pull over people with pro-fun stickers on their cars, search their cars, and confiscate guns, even though youre traveling.

Besides, in PA, there are mountians and fields and shit. It is closer for most of us anyways. PA is a six hour drive for me, while VA is like eight to twelve, depending on which part we go to.

Us Massfags should all carpool anyways. There are five of us (i doubt all five will go).

Florida Panhandle here, originally from the Midwest.

Why VA specifically?

I thought we were going to meet up then travel as a group towards the island.

4d6cb1 No.254

Everybody north of DC should probably meet up in PA somewhere and everyone south should meet up in KY or TN imo. Trying to get past DC, Baltimore, New York and Boston is a clusterfuck normally, in a shtf scenario you also get to deal with panic and looters.

Some other Anons talked about Rocky Top, TN, which actually seems fairly central for the SE area.

What's wrong with meeting up in upstate NY, VT, NH, or ME?

f0ec90 No.361

Glorious Maine here. VA is too far for me to walk.

I say meetup should be in NH. Perhaps land west of Conway? Most of it is unsettled, so we wont be bothering any people in the area. Few roads, so we wont be bothering the government, or whomever is on the roads after whatever scenario causes SHTF. Rough terrain so vehicles wont get up to us, air/drones will have difficulty spotting us, and there is no tactical value to any of it so ground forces will not bother getting near us. Plenty of deer and wildlife, vegitation, and land, so it is sustainable. Runoff from the mountains gives great water, and i know a few areas with literal taps in the rocks for you to stop and drink some of the purest natural water (its so cold and clear and good. Ive never had water better than runoff in NH). We dont want conflict, at least not in an offensive stance (unless we are being invaded by hordes of communist heathens), so this area is probably best.

I suggest any strelok looking to move should move to NH, low taxes, minimal gun laws, highest ownership of machineguns, very intelligent population (avg IQ highest in the US), libertarian/conservative state (besides the southern quarter, theyre basically massachusetts). Im going to be a local cop, so i plan on getting hired here then tranferring up there.

080bab No.450

I recommend we have a meetup along the Appalachian Trail,

>Plenty of wildlife to hunt

>usually in low populated areas

>no one is going to use it

>a clear path from north to south

If we're eventually going to beaver Island then It would be best to have it along the Northern Appalachian trail.

New Jewsey nofun fag here,

I live in central and I'm about and hour or two from the PA border.

>mfw I only have a KA-BAR, machete, tomahawk, and load Bering vest but with no funs or fun food.

>however I do have an extensive knowledge of primitive survival skills and basic bow making,( I can make a 60-70 pound draw bow from a sapling with 2 days of work)

Get a bow, it will be useful even in a group full of firearms

425587 No.636

>>588

Waaaait what about seasoning time? For me it takes a season to season a bow. How in the fuck do you do it in two days?

722f3b No.649

eastern VA fag here, so where have we settled on meeting?

f3a569 No.897

North VA / DC here, if SHTF happens just assume I am dead holding out against subhuman hordes.

The bow isn't a permanent solution, it's a haphazardly and quick way to make one in an innawoods situation, and if done right it actually can work.

All you need is a knife, a sapling preferably one that grows in a pair, I don't like cutting down lone saplings make sure the tree is straight and relatively free of surface bumps/knots. And rope, or paracord but I don't like using 550.

Cut down your sapling and spend the next few days shaping and straining the bow, you only have one shot to get it right or it'll be fucked up.

It's best to do this in the winter or late fall, colder weather makes it easy to shape the wood depending on what kind of tree and you can spot a sapling easier without all the undergrowth.

I am not at all a professional in bow making, nor do I have professional skills. I've been making these ones for about 3 years now and I'm still learning.

i live pretty much as far south on the ma-ri border as you can get, going way north to nh and then going south is going to be seriously impractical in shtf

>>450

this is a good strategy actually in a long-term shtf scenario. it would take a while to get to our rendezvous but we have a lower chance of encountering trouble from dindu nuffins

o shit, I'm in Hillsboro county too
