Flash apparently is a very serious security risk. Something came up a few weeks ago where an issue with flash fucked up the site pretty bad. Hotman nuked existing swfs and temporarily disallowed swf uploading to deal with the issue. I think imgur was involved somehow but I don't know the exact details.
