Nightmare number three, let's keep it going.
>Be me, 11 or so now
>Sleeping over at my cousins house
>Been a long night, time to settle down and -
>Fall asleep before that sentence even gets finished
>Dream of my cousin's house, bit for bit. It's a pretty fucking sweet house.
>Me, my cousin, my sister, brother, and my other cousin all decide to go for a walk in the woods behind cousin's house
>We'reofftoseethewizardthewonderfulwizardofOz.gif
>Go exploring for a very long time
>Night falls
>Somehow get separated from the rest of the group
>Didn't know it was so dark until then
>But then it's not dark, there's lights coming from the trees
>Strange blue lights, like candles
>Feel like something's watching me, studying, scrutinizing
>See my Cousin, he's been looking for me
>Can't find the other three, is getting very worried about them
>No time to worry though, why?
>A motherfucking T-Rex in the motherfucking woods
>They say ten pounds of shit bricks were shat
>We ran, the T-rex chased
>Being small and agile and able to dodge trees, we got ahead of it
>That's when we noticed the oil
>Thick, dark pools of it are everywhere it seems, festering and bubbling. Pretty gross.
>Oil on the ground, oil in the trees
>Cousin says we can't be touched by it
>I wholeheartedly agree
>T-rex doesn't seem to notice though, continues it's advance
>We jump over pools of oil, trying to get to the tree line
>Hear the T-rex scream and look back, it's got lots of oil on it now dropped from trees, stepped in, etc
>Oil is eating away at the T-rex's flesh, buts and bone visible within seconds
>Turn back around and run for my life after my cousin who's cleared the trees
>Burst out into the back yard
>See the swing set my cousin has, except that it's melting
>Not from oil though, acid. Noxtious green acid
>Also my brother's there, in the acid, half melted and still alive
>Think about trying to save my brother but my cousin runs up and grabs me
>Too late anon, we have to go before it rains!
>Look up to see black clouds in the sky, darker than the night
>Block clouds of oil
>T-Rex bursts out of the woods as well
>extra incentive to run to the basement and get inside just as it started to rain
>Watch the oil rain drill through the T-rex like bullets
>T-rex falls, down and out
>Step away from the window and follow cousin upstairs
>No one's home, everyone's just up and vanished
>No sign of sister or other cousin, really starting to flip shit over that fact
>Cousin goes and gets a couple of his dad's guns, gives me one
>We step outside onto his porch that wraps around his house and is protected by the roof, looking and calling for anyone
>World is gone, all is black with oil that continues to rain..
>Look out over the railing towards where the basement door is while cousin goes to the opposite side of the porch
>Acid pit seems immune to the oil, jumps out and latches onto the melted T-rex's bones
>Then I see the demons.
>Horrible, black oily things with fierce yellow eyes all climbing up from out of the oil
>Flip shit and run to go get my cousin
>Demons on the porch, coming in from all sides
>Have to get inside, forget about cousin
>Go inside and slam the door, holding the gun and wondering what use it'll be against such a supernatural horde
Then I woke up. What's very, very strange about this dream in particular is that it was a shared dream. My cousin dreamed almost the exact same thing. He dreamed we all went out into the woods together and went exploring, only to have me get separated from everyone else. Some trees ate his brother and my sister, like straight up tore them to shreds. That's when he went to find me, my brother had run off and ended up in the pool of acid. He mentioned the oil but not much after that, not the T-rex, not the demons and not his missing parents. I can only assume he forgot more of his nightmare than I did, but it's still one of the most dreadful dreams I've ever had.
