We made some headway in the /v/ thread about the guys hosting these fucked up flash games. Have any of you guys saved/archived/know/have info on someone called Cristian Radu? I heard his name popped up here. He's showing up in our research into the frozen games as well. Any info can help- it's difficult to find stuff.

I've just been exposed to all this bullshit going on. Can someone fill me in on how old this is? When did the channel pop up? When was the website made?

I was in the first thread, people discovered that the domain has been around since 2003 (maybe even before that). Originally it was some government funded advertising company aimed at girls. This is still accessible through the wayback machine website, the site itself was very basic listing a few of the things that the company stood for and whom backed them/sponsors. The domain has seemingly switched owner since 2007 and turned it into what it is today.

Has anybody ever thought that those games like "Elsa Brain Surgery" were done for kids who need to get brain surgery and are worried about it?

By seeing their favourite characters undergoing the same procedures as them and coming out just fine, they feel a bit better about their own surgeries. Consider it an edugame that educates very little, but still shows a little (fantastic) outline of the procedures used.

Of course they come out a bit weird to us, since we aren't children and we haven't undergone brain surgeries (I assume), but I think I can understand why would someone think making such a game was a good idea.

Creepy as fuck. Especially with it pretty much copy pasted. But whats the connection with heykids? I hope its just confused AI because if its just another creepy human. My faith in people will be shot. My faith is wearing thin guys.

Absolutely not. At least, as far as the "real world" of children having surgery is concerned, no medical professional would make anything like thus, or use anything like this, to talk to kids about what to expect in surgery.

I suppose you could be right about this, in that it was created to expose kids to stuff in a weird, but ?informative or ?hopeful way.

But they'd only be seen by kids googling for info on their fave Disney chars having surgery; the parents and the medical team would be working together to give the child appropriate information as to combat their fears or limited understanding.
