sup /x/. I had what I think was my first paranormal experience last night, and I wanted to ask you guys to confirm and seek further information. I'd say it's rather uneventful but it still spooped me enough that I stayed up till sunrise to fall back asleep.

I'll keep it short. Skip the first paragraph if you don't care to hear my dream, I just thing maybe it could be connected to what I saw. Last night I was having a dream, something boring. I can't remember much but it involved myself having wings and flying. The dream was pretty normal, until I was in a forest. I don't know how I got there, but I was in some woods. Very soon I started to get creeped out, and it felt like I was being watched. Next thing you know, I was being hunted in the woods, and I ran. I woke up almost instantly, very startled and very quickly, as usually happens with nightmares.

When I opened my eyes, I saw something in my room. I wasn't startled at first because I thought it may have just been a spot in my vision. I rubbed my eyes and looked away to clear it, but it was still there. There was no mistaking it. Then I thought to myself I may be looking at a dark object in my room, and mistook it for a figure. However I quickly realized that there had never been anything at all in that spot in my room (I recently moved in a few days ago, so the room is empty and it's kind of small, so I know the room well already and there is no possibility that I mistook it for something else). It's hard to describe in detail because it was dark, and I do not want to ascribe details to it that were not there. I'll do the best I can.

It was short. Maybe slightly taller than my air conditioner unit, which is altogether three feet (roughly). It was very dark, darker than its surroundings. You see, my room isn't dark to begin with. There is a street light directly outside my window and my blinds do not catch all the light, so even at night the room doesn't get completely dark. But this was somehow darker than the room (I think). It didn't look at me or even acknowledge I was there. It didn't make noise. It just walked very slowly to the edge of the room, and disappeared into thin air. It just faded out of existence. Something possibly unrelated, but maybe thirty minutes after the incident, it got very cold by my head, and I got uncontrollable chills on every part of my body for a very long time. I've never gotten chills like that, even when sick or cold. It was like a complete flush of the skin for about fifteen seconds. Strange but maybe unrelated.

Anyway, for some opinions on the detail: to me, it looked like a little girl (but can't know for sure). It looked like she had long hair and was in some sort of robe. She had her back to me. That is what I think.

I know for a fact that this happened, and there is no chance I was still dreaming because I awoke so suddenly from my nightmare - it isn't like I slowly opened my eyes from dreamland and saw it. There is no mistake that I saw this thing. What was it? A ghost? A spirit? A demon?

Sorry pic unrelated, I'm running on 2G LTE and it takes too long to download something related.

Keep track of strange things that happen over the next few weeks, if anything does.

It could just be a one-off spoop, but many visitations/hauntings/whatever have many aspects besides a visual figure.

Take note if:

>objects get strangely misplaced (lost entirely shortly after seeing it, or found in someplace where no-one would have put it)

>well-supported objects fall or get "thrown" off a shelf

>the temperature rises or falls either quickly or to a large degree in a specific area

>/tech/-related devices display strange behavior, e.g. clocks displaying the wrong time, calls not going through on a full-strength signal, pictures corrupting shortly after being taken

>you hear the exact same uncommon sound/noise/music coming from the same place or direction more than once

>pets (cats especially) act unusual, or are strangely fascinated by what appears to be nothing, like a wall or empty space

Regardless of whether or not you see it again, it may still be in the general vicinity of you. It may just leave, assuming there was an "it" that ever was there.

If this is just a one-off thing, then you shouldn't need to worry about it at all. If this marks the beginning of strange times for you, then keep track of this shit and let us know what happens.

I will keep you updated should anything continue. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred last night. However, one of the first few nights I moved in I noticed that all my dresser drawers were opened when I left them closed, and some clothes were out of place. I figured it was my brother and his friend from when he visited going through my stuff for whatever reason, but I don't see why he would do that. It seemed odd to me. Now I can't rule out the possibility it's related to what I saw.

Here's what I think for a non-paranormal explanation: I had a nightmare about being chased, and the adrenaline in my blood fucked with my vision when I woke up, causing me to see something that wasn't there.

In addition, there are some objects right below where the figure "walked". Can these things walk through objects? Either that or it really was just my vision going wonky.

I've noticed a few strange things around over the last few days but nothings seriously spoopy yet. For instance, I notice my blind closers (not sure what to call them) sometimes shake very hard when there's no wind and nobody touched them. Last night, I woke up and found my extremely heavy door open, when I clearly closed it before I went to bed.

Will let you know if anything serious happens

Go ahead and tell it that it does not have permission to stay in your territory.

It's testing the waters with you. Go ahead and let it know that shit won't stand and it will most likely leave.

Hey OP I had a similar experience when I was six or seven, I woke up in the middle of the night from a night mare and my head was propped up on a pillow so i could look straight past the edge of my bed out through my open door that is at the end of the hallway. my brothers room was directly across the other side of the hallway, and his door was closed. anyway i forget what the nightmare was but upon waking up I saw like what was a clocked figure, i remember thinking it was just my eyes or something, it was darker than all of the surroundings, it was at the end of the hallway just standing there. after maybe 20 seconds when it wasnt going away i realised it wasnt my imagination and began screaming, my parents ran in and turned on the lights, nothing was there. I said there was a ghost in the hallway, they asked if it was some clothes on a coathanger sitting on my wardrobe door, it definitely wasnt that. they calmed me down said it was just a dream and i slept in their bed that night. dad asked me to draw it the next day i just drew the outline of like a classic bed-sheet ghost costume but no face or eyes, i could only see the outline. it was pretty tall, 6ft.

Notes

> that shit could have been my imagination

> my door was always closed at night but was open upon awakening, although it is possible it was left open on that occasion

> there were many times since that event where i would be playing with toys at the edge of my room and would feel extreme terror like if i moved a monster would kill me from out of sight somehow.

> I have experenced some other hectic shit as an adult that is many more times more hectic than what i described above but most people here would probably scoff at such stuff, but I have nothing to prove.

anywho if that shit you posted is real and not a shitpost you may find what i've written here interesting.
