I personally believe that there could be dinosaurs still living today. There are vast areas of the world yet to be explored.

Yeah in this age of satellite imagery there's very little chance an active breeding population of dinosaurs or other megafauna could go unnoticed for this long, barring an active government coverup. And what motivation would they have to hide dinosaurs?

yeah thats the thing most people miss about big cryptids. You can't just have one not for long at least. It's one thing to suggest one plesiasaur lives in a lake in scotland leaving very little evedince of its existance. It's another to say twenty of them hide just as well.

They probably found a skeleton and guessed at what it looked like, like we do. There were stegosauroids in Asia: Monkonosaurus in Tibet, Wuerhosaurus in Xinjiang and Mongolia.

Australian aboriginals definitely lived amongst mega fauna this is fact. Giant kangaroos up to 3-4 meters tall and giant wombats were hunted to extinction. The same goes for the moa in new Zealand which was a giant bird kind of like a cassowary which is related to the raptor. Also reminder that birds are dinosaurs and for whatever reason the new Jurassic park movie ignored new findings that most dinosaurs were covered in feathers.
