Guys… That moment when you realize the girls you love will grow older than your preferred age range within a time-span of 5 or so years…

Also, hi, It's been awhile. It appears as though the repetitive arguments about the same topics are still around, that's nice to see.

If you truly love them, you won't fucking care.

That's not true. I loved her. Now I'm not even attracted to her anymore.
A 10yo loli is so much different from a 13yo loli.

Stop being so selfish. Have you even thought about the consequences of leaving her now, especially for such a dumb reason?

I was in love with a 9 year old. She is now 12, and I'm still crushing on her as hard as ever. I guess it's sad that they grow up, but eh, it's life. In any case, I don't think you can call it love if all the feelings disappear just because she gets a bit older. Infatuation, attraction, a crush, sure. But it's not love unless it endures.

Sometimes I feel stupid.

I never said I would leave her. I will be by her side as long as she needs me. It's just that I'm no longer attracted to her body, and character wise she seems to become the next miley cyrus …
I don't try to see her that often now. It's fine if she wants to visit, but this also gets less and less the older she gets.

girls get dumb at their teen years. most of them also become massive whores.

back in the day there was no social media to make even the shy girls into attention whores. now every girl thinks they`re a celebrity and will do anything for attention.

only people who were older before the internet got big know the difference. shy, cute girls were ACTUALLY shy, not just pretending. being nerdy was a real thing, not just using huge glasses on purpose and posting no tumblr.

there were no girls going to anime clubs just to get geek orbiters and white knights buying them gifts.

nowadays the shy girls lose their hymens at 12yo a second after they dye their hair and get a smartphone.

Anime wasn't popular outside Japan when I was a teen, you pokemon child. Don`t try to join adult conversations.

He means you were a teenager when Pokemon aired in the US. If you were 13 in 1998, you would be 30 now and he probably is 40 or 50.

oh, BTW I knew someone who was watching Evangelion when it recently aired in early 90s.

Also Macross aka Robotech and Uuchuu Senkan Yamato aka StarBlazers and of course Voltron were already beign aired internationally.

You weren't even alive in the 80s, much less the 70s or whatever decade he is from.

Whoops, I kinda abandoned thread when the replies started flooding in. Yes, it Is a problem only with exclusives.
Maybe I should have specified that this post is only for exclusives?

I should also put some background info: My cousin whom I've been unhealthily in love with ever since she was 8, is turning 13 soon. This is getting past my age range, and I'm still feeling the same feelings I had for her at day one.
However, she's just not as attractive (sexually) anymore. She still is, don't get me wrong, but it's more of a sentimental thing now.

Good, that means you truly love her. And how would that love be "unhealthy"? Doesn't sound like it is.

 No.20175

It's unhealthy because we're very closely related.

and also because

Okay, well, I'm here to tell you that it's okay. You know, when it comes to incest, it only causes problems when done repeatedly for generations . And cousins don't share enough DNA for it to ever really become harmful. You could marry a cousin, have kids, and their kids could marry their cousins, and so on, and it would be fine.

 No.20200

Well true, first cousins only have a 1/16 chance to get a cyclops.

It's not. It's 1/4 with brothers/sisters/parents, 1/8 with uncles and aunts, 1/16 with first cousins, and 1/32 with second cousins, so on and so on.

Risk of a serious genetic defect is 3-4% within the general population, which seems high to me. Having a child with your first cousin doubles that risk, apparently. But if you're two healthy people and she is young then I can't imagine that the risk is that high, since age and family history of illness factors in a lot too I imagine. If you're Jewish then maybe you shouldn't marry your cousin.
