>What happens when information on these symbols is found out by the public and suddenly someone you know puts two and two together?
That's exactly what I'm not suggesting.
No symbols.
Use a pattern, be it a placement one, color one, or object placement, to indicate if you really want to be cheeky.
The above can accidentally occur during normal peoples daily patterns, or just someone having a weird taste in (X). You could make it a dark blue and green checker pattern for example.
Literally impossible to profile accurately, but it still indicates something special may be behind those colors. But to make fear over those color combinations would be ridiculous.
>Would be a signal
But what if it's a fed or a normie who heard of it?
Ded on sight.
To spot a pedo or pedo-friendly guy in such a way is easy now any way. Just mention TOR and possibly encryption, and they'll usually return the interest in encryption and discuss the best method and software, and usually mention different sites, saying "have you heard of the (X) shutdown? That's crazy, can't believe it."
Normal people don't know of this type of stuff, but it's not a "secure" way, so no one confirms or denies anything, at least at first, and as a result as well, no popo try it.
>I dislike these, due to the lack of symbolism and the fact that they don't really catch your eye.
They're a bad idea, I agree, but that's because they're a flag.
Combine those three.

You can easily put this on anything, in any picture, anywhere, making a Christmas thing, a card, etc.
To make it even easier, put it in a circle.
You can easily tag things with it, and because of it's simplicity and the fact you aren't using it in a stand-out way, it's overseen.
Alternatively, use the image below that.
The circle.
It's simple, it matches so it could be seen as a common thing to draw, and it's at a strange angle that can indicate something. Furthermore, it's slightly too far, the red part, the line, out of the circle.
Perfect indicator.
Personally I don't think any of this matters, but if you want it, do it right.
