The only way forward is challenging the idea that sex between younger and older people is inherently harmful. Self-hating pedos help nobody since they don't want to change anything. Why come out if you agree with the current way society treats you? What do you gain?

Within the child fucker community, there's also those who think children "need" sex, rather than "tolerate" sex. These are the guys who believe parents should bring intimate contact to their children for them to develop properly.

I don't really care too much whichever faction gets picked up, because there'll be general progress of some sort either way, but if any kind of movement wants to go anywhere, it has to decide to stick to a single stance

No. If you want to challenge anything, push for tasteful child nudity/sexually suggestive imagery to be legal. No sex obviously, just something you can masturbate to and nobody gets hurt. Going full balls to the wall sex legalization helps nobody and shuts the movement down fast (see Germany).

Although laws that deal with how sex offenders and pedos themselves should be reviewed and changed immediately, I think there needs to be waaaay more honest and unbiased research on exactly how various types sexual activity effect children along with the factors that are attached to it like cultural norms, family status, and the nature of the relationship itself before we can review child sex laws whatsoever, its safer to keep it banned until we know.

The path to pedo rights is in the research. right now its too easy to dismiss pro pedo research because theres so little of it. if we kept proving and re-proving the rind analysis over and over again until no one in their right mind could avoid it any longer, they have no choice but to accept it.

Regardless, it's more of a religious/moral issue. We prevent parents from doing things that can physically or emotionally harm their children, such as corporal punishment. Masturbation does not fall under that category.

That's another fucking thing. /younglove/always defaults to "pedophile." But that's only one of three MAP types that aren't hopeless (paedos are close to helpless, though). And that's another rift that seems unsolvable. Hebe and ephebo have to be re-accepted before anything further can happen, but paedos probably won't like that.

It's the image being spread that matters. Keeping the self-hate closeted up detracts nothing from the main supportive movement. On the other hand, actively promoting a self-hating lifestyle and condemning those against actively works against the movement as a whole. Considering that the public will side with those closest to their norm, the self-haters become "good pedos" while everyone else remains a monster. There was no such significant self-hating group in the lgbt movement, unlike the divide we have right now.
