It wasn't always like this. Back in October of last year, when I first started posting here, it was quite pleasant. There were still some arguments, but they were all civil and well reasoned. It was nice.
Since then, we've been getting more and more users that seem to be prejudiced against this or that and they resort to insults and trolling rather quickly when intelligent discussion isn't going their way. It's really disheartening and I know it has caused several regular posters to abandon ship.

Actually, I use a name for accountability. I'm here often enough that I should post responsibly. That way, if I'm putting up an argument, someone can point to my other posts in other threads and say, "But in this other thread you said that… How come you changed your stance on this subject?" Or, "You're contradicting yourself. In another thread you said _."
Also, on a completely unrelated note, pictureless threads are boring.
