I've received some terrible news from the crack-head branch of my family. My sixteen year old cousin has been arrested for child molestation! He proudly confessed to it, and to being a pedophile, and was promptly disowned by his father (who married his mother when she was fourteen after getting her pregnant at thirteen, when he was seventeen, oddly enough). The horrible part is that he is not only a boyfucker, but a babyfucker as well. Yes, it is despicable, but he stands accused of sexual assault of his 2 year old step-brother. I didn't ask for details. How did he get caught? By fucking bragging about it to some old man he's been fucking (an old perverted faggot turning a young pedo faggot into the police, I could not possibly make this shit up). That was a really stupid move on his part, because molesting a child under six is a worse crime and carries a 25 year minimum sentence in this state, if tried as an adult. He'd better start showing some remorse if he doesn't want the book thrown at him.

On the other hand, I didn't hear anyone in my family calling for his death, only life-long incarceration, which is better than usual.

Am I wrong to not feel much sympathy for him? When I was sixteen, the rules were pretty clear to me, and when I bent them, I didn't reveal in it. I mean, I'm sure we all went through a "fuck the world" phase (even non-pedos do that), but I think most of us would at least feel a little guilty. On the other hand, I grew up upper-middle class, and his father has to move every six months to avoid the police. At least the boy, who I don't know, is unlikely to remember.

Such a shame. He threw his life away.

I know, right. He's been caught for theft and joyriding before this, and he's always had that "I don't give a fuck, fuck you and your rules!" attitude. I suspect he doesn't quite realize how deep the shit he is in really is. The county has offered to release him until the trial, but no one wants to take him in because most have kids, and I can't do it because I don't live in that county (and also because I'm a piece of shit and don't really want to), so he is still "detained".

I've also learned that it wasn't the old man who turned him in. His father had banned him from having a phone to try to prevent him from chatting up older guys, so he was stealing phones from other students to do it. This time, the school read the messages and called the police.

I was referring to when I was that age. I never did anything this stupid by a long shot. The worst thing I ever did was download CP on Limewire, but it's been ten years since then and eight since I used CP at all, so I think I'm safe.
