Have you raised kids? Even had guardianship? As a parent you are responsible for them. If I let my child decide to eat nothing but candy and they get a bunch of cavities a social worker visit (it happened to someone I know). As a guardian you make the final decisions. A child hates school, vaccines, medicine etc but as the parent you must do what you need to keep the child healthy and happy.
Sex is health related. I would not let my child decide on their own because I can get in trouble or become responsible when they do something (get pregnant).
Quit ignoring child development and that mentally plenty of kids need guidance from their guardian to make the right decisions.
