It would be neat to have some more activity on this board than none at all, and this kind of connection might help.

These niche boards do tend to turn into just content and information dumps rather than housing actual conversation because of their slow and unpopulated nature.

Also, have those WebM threads on /v/ been paying off?

They have, at least to some extent. I also have threads on /jp/ and /2hu/, but I don't think those are getting me anywhere.

I'm considering my options as far as advertisement and sponsorship are concerned. I could make a /mu/ thread, or ask the BO to add a link to my board in the announcement. I could also try with /v/ or /a/ (this one might be tough, the BO is probably very tired of my shitposting by now) . Reaching a wider audience isn't enough, I need to be able to reach the kinds of people who like this content and might contribute to the board in some form. I can do the CSS, banners, etc myself now, but we always need more manpower to find new content.
