If all you do is download porn, then realistically https doesn't matter so much. So get a VPN or use Tor within reason (Tor is better but less suited to porn), and don't worry about https.
If you want to do anything more, e.g. meet people or share info, that's when https matters. BUT if you look at all the major forums, even if they now have https now (a decade late), their track record on technical and admin matters is so awful, and zoos are so poor at this, that you should assume anything you post anywhere in them is public. So as a user, keep your details off those sites entirely, and worry about end-to-end encryption on your chat messengers instead.
