I've been worldbuilding a benevolent eugenics program that supported queaning or something like this. Not distinctly white patriarchy, but it can fit.
>All humans are Ranked A-F based on geneology.(could also be based on race)
>If you have world class Athletes, scientists, and those who have distinguished themselves in your bloodline(and no real genetic faults) you get ranked A for good genes.
>B for those who are not quite perfect. Maybe you needed braces or are nearsighted or something. or maybe your ancestors just didn't stand out much
>C for those worth breeding with, but might have children who are costly. Maybe they have asthma, or mild allergies, or controllable diabetes, but also have redeeming qualities, such as a history of being productive.
>D Persons need to have serious proof of worthyness in order to be accepted. maybe they have a high risk of cancer, or are at high risk of serious mental illness.
>F persons have a certain, or near certain chance of having children that are more costly than beneficial to society.
Marriage is given a number of benefits, including being the only way to qualify for government benefits of any kind(welfare, unemployment, ect) for you, your spouse/s and child/red. The lower your rank, the more highly you are encouraged to sterilize via payments or tax credits from the government, or to be paid to immigrate to another country, or join the military(if capable), or a combination there of. There are benefits to each option.
In order to marry someone below your station, you must first already have married someone within your station or higher and had more children with them than you intend to have with another partner.(Example, an A man may marry a C woman only if he has already married an A woman and had a child with her. if he wants to have a child with C woman, he needs to have at least 2 with A woman. This means that every family will produce more children of thier grade than lower, but they will also "raise up" groups that are lower, possibly at the same time) If an A couple were to randomly have an F child due to mutPost too long.
