Hey Jim, I'm not sure if you've noticed how difficult it is getting to post, but it's really getting out of hand.

Fredrick has had little to no communication with us for some time, similarly to how there was no communication or action while Josh was running a muck.

These are logs posted originally on /tech/

>22:44:28 StephenLynx: btw, copypaste how is going vfec? any news?

>22:45:08 ~copypaste: i barely wrk on it since 8chan is so fast now

>22:45:10 ~copypaste: it seems not needed

>22:45:40 ~copypaste: i work on my emoji language, which is much more fun. it has been many years since i made a conlang, and this is the first one i've made that actually works well

>22:45:54 StephenLynx: but the IO issue wouldn't happen again if it gets the traffic it used to have?

>22:46:12 ~copypaste: sure, but do you see any indication of that every happening?

>22:46:17 ~copypaste: ( ???)

>22:46:56 ~copypaste: i am happy to wait for lynxchan to develop, and odili to write the migration since he volunteered

And to copy and paste from a bit of the thread on /v/

>Since Hotwheel's last action only deleting some form of logging Josh screwed up he has apparently done little to no work on the VFEC solution voted upon by the poll.

>He has worked on his manurepost language while waiting for endchan's Odli to develop a migration tool for him. This is without a word directly to the community of the site.

Here's the thread if it is still up by the time you see this >>>/v/8492138

Do you think you can get a hold of him and get to him address the community as well as get back to work on something? If he has to pass things off to someone else then so be it, but all this waiting without a word is terrible.

Help would really be appreciated, Jim.

Also have the thread on /tech/

Well, there are new servers coming for 8chan with SSD discs, and some new things coming from another development company on IO issues. Fredrick might just not be talking to you, but we have discussed those things posted on /tech/ Maybe this should be posted on /tech/ what do you think?

Yeah I think that would be a good idea.

Also could you pass on to Fredrick to try and keep us in the loop more often? Just something like a scheduled talk at the end of each week would go a long way.

I support more community interaction too. Having to get info from anons posting IRC conversations, which are hard to trust, has gotten really old. It seems like it is impossible to get a real answer about the site at times.

/intl/ scared off Hotwheels by flooding into every thread he appeared in, forcing him to cut back massively from community interaction, as much as I hate the meme in a sense "/intl/ won" on that front, and they'll keep on "winning" as long as Hotwheels keeps being a push over and absent admin.

And here you are on my personal image blog, how about that. I understand that pressure. I suppose he feels it as well.

>>2033

IRC can be fun and useful. It is not a trustable source though.

>>2032

Hotwheels is a good guy. He is working on the site daily. Do you think he always posts with his trip? This is an anon site. Don't be so bold to assume he is a trip yogi all the time.

I would like him to talk more often as well. He is hilarious, and spot on. He is a young man, but an old soul.

Its more about your life than 8ch.

Not that I'm complaining but its no replacement for /operate/.(Not that /operate/ current BO is a replacement for Hotwheels, either)

Well this surely isn't operate. Do you have a problem? We are working on the current 404 problem. I suspect we will have results in a few days.

Hey Jim love the blog, long time reader first time poster.

Just wanted to pop in and ask if you can do anything about the /intl/ shills killing the site. They seem really determined to undo all of your and Frederick's good work.

Sorry about the whole situation with Josh, none of us realised how unreliable he was. Doesn't surprise me that he was working with /intl/, to be honest…

Anyways, keep up the good work!

I don't know how often you visit the boards he supposedly posts on, but based on the few times he has made identifiable posts, I definitely have to agree with >>2034: Hotwheels has changed a lot ever since /intl/ started attacking him.
