I am that jackoff. I'm also a RWBY fan.

To the three or four people who frequent this board, nothing is really changing.

A reiteration of the previously posted rules:

1. Follow the global rules

2. It's encouraged to keep things about RWBY, but anything Rooster Teeth related is okay.

3. Lewd is fine, but anything NSFW should be under a spoiler

I think it would be cool if someone made a beacon themed RWBY tabletop rpg.

Anyone have any idea what system we could adapt outside of GURPS and pathfinder?

I haven't played any role playing games other than Call of Cthulhu so I can't really say what system would be best. You'd want something that's fast paced and combat specialized.

Maybe /tg/ will have a better idea? I certainly remember them talking about RWBY on several occasions so they certainly know the setting. I also thing the RWBY page on Reddit is working on something, you can also search there.

I remember them having a thread about this very subject before, but I have no idea if anything came of it. Still, if they can make tabletop games based off Harry Potter, Soul Eater, and Totally Spies, they could probably help make a RWBY RPG.

So maybe a revolver hand cannon that is also a longsword/broadsword like Weiss'? What do you think about the shield idea? Yay or nay?

I'm just talking about a stand alone revolver, maybe there's the choice between an up close or ranged weapon.

As for the shield, whatever works, maybe gauntlets that can create an energy shield or something.

Sounds like a good idea. Having a energy shield would certainly be more practical than Jaune's heavy shield.

Not bad. I don't have any merch personally but was thinking about buying a t-shirt, for conventions only of course (pics related). The plushies in the OP look kind of cute but I can't really speak much for the quality since I'm not a big-time plush collector. I do love Weiss' grumpy face though.

O.O actually, the models do look pretty much alike. Though the tatoo ain't that obvious in Yatsuhashi…

I'm not sure if it's just a case of model reutilization or this is an actual thing. Because getting out of the tunnels, changing outfit and entering in a plane must take more time than what they had.

Also they entered the scene with Peter Port.

Its not the best thing in the world but it's a damn fun ride. Volume 2 got better as if they actually listened to criticism and gave me hope it'll just get better from there. Hope RT can get it together with the loss of Monty though.
