>Bruh, I've read that manga before, many years ago, and have some bad memories about it. The plot was terrible and more focused on fanservice than anything (to be fair, it was written by Seikon no Qwaser's author. Story isn't his main talent). Since I watched the anime first and expected something similar or better, I really hated it.
Never read the manga. Heard it was bad. But also heard from others it was decent but a lot of them seemed to hate on the anime so you're probably right. So that's why I mentioned it.
>Also, yeah, those Spica episodes weren't very good. I did like Yaya and her angst-drama for loving Hikari, but that's it. Amane and others can die in a fire.
I liked Kaname and Momomi - the evil global warming lesbians despite the rest of Spica being crap.
>About Yukino, well, for me she is more or less a Ying for Haruka's Yang and voice of reason. Her interactions with other characters were poor, yes, but I like how she triggers most of Haruka's softer and funny moments. It's like they complete each other as a duo.
Oh they do. I just personally find Yukino boring for reasons stated. Haruka tends to interact with the rest of the cast more than Yukino does so you get to see more sides to her. They both have funny interactions but I think you could do some interesting shit with Haruka's character by pairing them up with other characters.
>I have to disagree a bit here. Imo, some characters look like hungry skeletons with and without clothes (Nagisa and Shizuma with their usual uniforms for a example), but, since i'm not used with Shoujo art styles as I were before and prefer more realistic bodies, it may be just me.
I tend to like my characters taller but that's my personal tastes showing through. The show could have used more budget but I felt that when it needed to look good for the Shizuma/Nagisa sections it managed to look pretty good.
