If you haven't already, it could help if you fill out the favourite boards in options. Rather than having the top boards, at the top of the screen, you change it to the boards you visit the most. It makes it look a bit more like 4chanX.

Hey it's cool if you're just gonna lurk and post from time to time but it would be nicer if people communicate more and made an effort to respond to posts they find interesting.

I've personally been responding to any new posts I see recently on 8/u/ just so people will continue posting and keep the conversation going longer. Usually I'm lurker supreme when I browse but I find this has been helping to drive the board activity up.

Even if it is to meme or shitpost it helps when you are gonna create and post content on 8/u/ that you know someone will take the time to respond to it.

I was thinking maybe we should host some streams for the next season. When all the eps have released for the week we could hold a weekly stream at a specific time and watch all the eps together at a single time.

I can understand why producers don't want it to be explicitly stated that the girls are in a relationship together, it would reduce the audience for the shows significantly, especially for Symphogear since it's a franchise at its peak right now. For example, I know this fujo that watched and liked Symphogear, yet I doubt she would have watched it if she knew there was actual gay in it. It's the same for a lot of people, they just don't want any of that, and subtext is enough. Everybody wins with these sort of shows, really. I will take another example: Love Live! There is no canon gay, but yurifags can be left to fantasize about it, while people that could be put off by that still watch it, people like waifufags and women/girls in general, after all, LL! got a pretty big female fanbase. I don't think the franchise would be as big if it had canon homosexual relationship(s) going on.

I agree on Utena being a little painful to watch due to reused footage. It's much like Sailor Moon in that regard. Watch it in bursts. Don't just binge. I'd say one thing I don't like is how predictable the show is in regards to how each arc unfolds. It's a good show outside of that but it annoyed me cause it means you already know how each ep is gonna end. This is a similar complaint I had with GX in regards to the dolls.

KnM is really one of the best shows /u/ has to offer. I knew you'd like it. It starts great and ends great but the middle can be a little rough with the greater focus on the mecha. The mecha gets better though at least for a few episodes later on in the show. Really though the relationship between Himeko and Chikane is what keeps this thing so good even after all these years. It pulls out all the /u/ tropes and plays them all perfectly one after another. It's overly melodramatic yeah but that's a boon rather than a negative.

Yeah I don't expect them to go full explicit except for maybe some of the side characters (there is precedent for more mainstream popular shows having gay sides namely HiME and Sailor Moon) but the mains will always be left ambiguous at best.
