Yes, the confrontation doesn't happen nearly this quickly after he wakes up. There's a whole scheme where Yashiro pulls his strings to get the city and hospital to fund/allow a camping trip for the in-patients, sends Satoru a text telling him she'll agree to meet him in a shed somewhere to murder the girl so Satoru and Kenya will come rescue her. It was all a ruse and he figured Satoru had his memories back, so he's actually off slowly killing her some other way. There's a confrontation on a bridge with explosives, the girl is rescued, Yashiro tries to take Satoru out with him but gets tackled off the bridge. The police rescue them both and arrest Yashrio.

It's good to know I'm not the only watching L&L, it's pretty mediocre, but I can tolerate it if only to laugh at how mediocre it is. If I had to specify my dislike for the show I would say it has to do with the overuse and jarring disparity between the animated parts and the CG, the general aimless feel to the show and the unlikable one note characters. A noticeable exception is not-Dio, but I only like him because because of how much he reminds me of Dio. The show is predictable, I knew Dio was going to be the bad guy the second they introduced him, and they shit on him the whole show really to nail that point home. I also thought it was funny they were legitimately surprised when he accepts Lucifer as his stand and founds the church of Satan despite that essential being his only goal. The character drama and crises have all the weight and urgency of an overdue library book. The glasses chick is jealous that the MC is better than her as leader, the quiet chick has abandonment issues, the boss' mentor was struck comatose by a monster and she can't let go, Dio, is a useless sack of shit, the build ups all felt flaccid and the conclusions were just as flat. I also love how the MC wanted to destroy Lucifer before shit popped off, but his stand wouldn't let him because Satan swore up and down that he came in peace. They treat this as a valuable lesson for the MC because he didn't trust his stand only for him to be right as Lucifer starts Armageddon 6 episodes later as predicted. I can't bring myself to hate the show, I got some entertainment laughing at how stupid it is and all the shit catchphrases every other character dropped all the time but this show is in no way shape or form good. At It isn't Comet Lucifer though so it has at least one thing going for it.

This was 6/10. Wasted potential, rife with plot holes, but it did give some moderate feels and looked decent enough.

Remove the glaring plot holes with the sci fi elements. Make the androids more robotic. Have the androids lose their memories and malfunction in non-deadly ways instead of becoming killers. Maybe they just need to be retrieved so criminals can't repair/program them for their own purposes.

Make this the second or third time Tsukasa has met a reprogrammed Aira. Then the blatant foreshadowing could be forgiven because the plot would act like a repeating loop. All the other humans already know what's happening and react differently to it, some thinking he's a fool, others thinking it's romantic.

Make it seem like the androids definitely retain some memories during the festival episode. However, Aira doesn't seem to retain memories and some of the other humans pity Tsukasa for staying with her.

Make Michiru an actual part of a love triangle, but Tsukasa runs back to Aira every time she's reprogrammed.
