Hey /fa/, I'm really picky about what I wear because I don't like wearing things that make me look chubby or fat. I found these great shirts cheep and I love the way they fit and feel but since they are in camouflage they are more than a little unsuitable for alot of places.

I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about dyeing, preferable white.

tl;dr: I want to dye pic related white

use distilled bleach, the bonus about bleaching your clothes is that you can drink the bleach afterwards to dispose of it fatty :^)

Ive never thought of it like that :o

Seriously thought the shirt material is a mixed blend of cotton and polyester. I know the the cotton content is much higher than the polyester. Will this affect how the material takes the bleach?

The polyester bits might me yellowish after bleaching, but if you bleach them again you will get rid of that I think. You should just try. Also hit the gym fatty.

>the bonus about bleaching your clothes is that you can drink the bleach afterwards to dispose of it

That actually got an audible laugh out of me.

Anyways, be careful with bleach. It could turn it into horrendous colors, like pink and yellow. I've never experimented with bleach before. Try it on something that has a similar color and see what happens, then try it again and see what comes of it. You get the idea.

In fact, I think I might try it out on an old shitty shirt.

If he gets pink or yellow they would look good for doing palewave stuff though. Atleast I think that's how it would end up. Another good thing about bleach is that you can just repeat the process.

I brought a shit ton of these shirts with more than half of them being different sizes so I'm testing it out on the smaller ones that don't fit.

Dyeing them in this state turned them a brownish colour. One of my friends said that I would have to dye them black before bleaching them so I'm trying that now when its not raining

of the brownish colour? I didn't think to take pics whilst I had the chance sorry.. I threw the fabric out since I'm getting them bleached and dyed over a friends house.

It reminds me, some days ago my cousin tried to bleach (i think) a sweater, it turned from blue to red.

I forgot this thread was here. She has been soaking it in a bucket for weeks since she forgot to take it out and right now she can't get the excess dye out. I'm surprised it hasn't started to rot.

I brought them online from

http://www.militarymart.co.uk/german-flecktarn-field-shirt.html

But I have ordered like 20 shirts from these guys and only 3 or 4 of them have been in the correct size since they only measure their sizes by the chest. This means I have two shirts with 110 size chests but one doesn't cover my waist where as the other hangs below my ass.

I would buy them from these guys instead since they actually have the correct sizes listed. They also have a customer service team that doesn't consist of an old man with alzheimer's that can't reply to E-mails. These guys offer it for twice the price but it seams more than worth it, especially since they try to repair damage since they are surplus.

Yeah, the price changes a little depending on the size you want and you have to pay postage on top of that. I have worn the same 3 shirts on rotation for like a year now and they are still going strong, German quality I guess.

Thanks for the site, Do you know any site with cheap clothes?

The regular shirts don't have a size chart?

 No.5185

>>5182

Size chart? Try E-mailing the site if its EpicMilitaria. Ignore it if its MilitatyMart. Epic should be able to send you one. Both sites otherwise tend to sell most surplus stuff cheep, the reproduction ww1/2 stuff is what is expensive on there.

Theres this site here which has a good rep as far as I know but I haven't ordered anything from them yet
